Here’s a special Father’s Day dedication to all you patriarchs out there.

New-Daddy Substantial enlists the talents of local DMV artists Gods’Illa and QN5 labelmate Kokayi to expound on the art of being a papa in 2009. This track was produced by Marcus D. (of “Day In The Life (f/ Steph)“ fame) and is taken directly from their forthcoming Japanese-Only collaborative album, Jazzmatic (Music To Take Your Breath Away), due out this fall on Tamashie Creations/Elevation Records. In the meantime, tell your baby mama we said ‘whuttup’.

As far as the Japan only release, currently, Marcus D and I are signed with Elevation/Tamashie Creations (http://www.myspace.com/elevationjapan or http://www.myspace.com/tamashie) for this project who only handle releases for Japan.

If the demand for it in the states and everywhere else is “substantial” then things may change. Stay tuned
