Second day of the new year. Everyone’s either made their resolutions for ’08 already, or are tinkering with the idea of one today. I for one, have my own…which I won’t share for the sake of not falling flat on my face in public. Instead, I’ve got a nice surprise for y’all today, that you might find helpful as you contemplate how to spend the next year of your life.

Here’s a 100% FREE DOWNLOAD of the first collection (ie. mixtape) from INVERSE, entitled So Far. This is the pre-release/buzz builder for their upcoming debut LP, Long Day’s Journey which, according to them is due out sometime later this year. This is something hat’s right up the blue schooler alley. Soulful New Hip Hop straight from the West Coast. Granted, it’s not an official QN5 release, but with production by Kno and a few hooks with the underground Nate Dogg, Deacon The Villain, it’s hard not to recommend on my personal behalf.

Kno introduced me to Tunji a few years back and we’ve been building with them for the past few years. I’m a big fan of their music, but they never had an actual CD for me to show people.
