I was wondering where this was on Monday. Definitely excited, and it looks like it has a dark theme to it with both the album cover and tracklist.

Can’t wait. September/October can’t come fast enough.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Grieves on a track. His style meshes perfectly with the (apparent) vibe of this album.

Wow, judging from the tracklist, this album is going to be very emotional. I love Kno’s lyrics on subjects that provoke your emotions. I actually prefer that side of him over his humorous material, but the humor always cracks me up as well.

looks like a deep album. were any of these beats intended for CATM or were they made purely for this LP? just curious

Hmm, Sadistik or Emancipator would be good fits as features on the album if he were to have them.

List sounds deep. I can already picture myself suicidal by

Looks like its going to be an excellent ‘cold autumn night’ album. I get the feeling this one might become important to me, i’m already considering a tattoo.

And as I mentioned in the other post, the distributor agreed to place a sticker on the outside of the retail CD so the typography no longer has to be “legible” so me and Kontrast did something harder to read but more congruent with the artwork/hair/style.

fuckin sweet tracklisting!! i can now listen to this hopefully instead of my usual depressing indie rock music when i need to. this was much needed in the hip-hop genre

I was wondering why people were talking about a new cover…lol. I then realized I needed to clear my cache for it to download the new image. So for those who are still seeing the image posted on Monday…clear your cache if simply refreshing your browser does not work.

This looks like a typical dirty south crunk album.

On a serious note though the concept looks amazing. I’m wondering if there’s going to be a narrative like we saw with APOS, or if it will be a collection of songs that tackle the topic of death.

The cover art reminds me of Death from Neil Gaiman’s Sandman graphic novels:

I really hope the artist drew inspiration from that character. It’d add a whole other level of awesomeness to the work.

Can we expect to hear a single around pre order date?

with every next post you just leave me wondering what more you are able to in order to outrun yourselves… the cover’ s a lot better that way imo, the track list is what i kinda expected, or maybe just hoped for subconsciously…

Not at all put off by the tracklisting being the most emo thing I’ve ever seen. Just makes the whole thing all the more intriguing, because I have faith it’ll be dope no matter what.

Is this the next QN5 release then, or can we expect more between October and now?

‘The Park’ was actually my least favourite song from DA. Not saying it was bad, just that I liked all the other songs more.

All of the titles tempt me too. But maybe that I expect a little bit more from La Petite Mort, given that I’m French (kinda funny to find a foreign title in the middle of a disc).

the park was one of the best off DA, the one i didn’t really care for was the opening track, Never.
but it was still good.

This album is great

I Wish I Was Dead - That was the best song on the album for me. The story line that Kno had on that track was crazy. Like watching a movie. Tonedeff added to the slaughter of that track.

Keep it up Kno good job n thanx for giving people something worth listening to.

Just wanted to say that I think most people havent even comprehended how great this work is. This and Oneirology and pretty much everything Cunninlynguists have done. To Kno I will just say this music is definitive - wether it gets the acclaim it deserves or sells or not. What it is doing is touching people very deeply and to me incorporating sounds into Hip Hop that are well beyond defining a new sound. So whatever happens in terms of sales etc you have to Kno that it is as good as it can be. I listen to tons of music across all genres - i´m am an absolute music junkie and I would say that my taste and ability at identifying great music is well above average. I´m a succesful dj too. So trust me when I say - it doesnt get better than this.
