French blue schoolers stand up! While working on his forthcoming QN5-debut album, D.C.‘s own grammy-nominated Kokayi has recently licensed two self-produced original songs, “Believe It” and “LeRoi”, to appear in the French short film, “A l’arraché” directed by Paul Manate.

The film was shown at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and Clermont Festival and received high marks from critics. Starring in the film is famous French soccer player Vikash Dhorasoo, who portrays a worker who gets fired and decides to “sacrifice” his leg to get the insurance. We’ll let you know when the film is available on DVD for our big dumb american eyeballs.
