I Know The Feeling.

Ahhh, the annual joy that is the Megashow.

I’m pretty certain that I shave 2 years off my life off due to stress every year from this event. But WE DO THIS FOR Y’ALL – so it’s always worth it in the end.

Ok, so I went to sleep @ 5:30 am this morning. Woke up @ 8:00 am.
Another typical day on the grind. Wouldn’t be so bad if I hadn’t gone to bed at 4:30 am the day before and gotten up at 8:00 am. Or if the day before that I hadn’t hit the hay till 8:30 am and woke up at 10:30 am. I can’t even remember the day before that. (Total Sleep = 8 hours in 4 days).

Of course we had some sort of freak summer storm here last night in NYC and none of the trains are working today. So, I just spent the past 2 hours commuting on a sardine-style packed bus and walking 33 long blocks in this 93 degree heat just trying to get into the city from Queens.

Of course, I still need to pack merch, gear, put together a crew-wide travel itinerary, edit & burn final versions of Session’s, Pack’s and my own show CDs and somehow manage to stay conscious enough to tell the cabbie which airport I’m flying out of tomorrow morning. I don’t even wanna think about the forthcoming connecting flights and L.A. traffic just yet.

But before I flip myself out, I remind myself that this year’s show is definitely shaping up beautifully and I think y’all are gonna have a fucking blast. I’m just grumpy, tired and running on pure adrenaline/anticipation. It’ll be good to hang out with the entire camp again. It’s gonna be insanity, folks. See yall at the Megashow!
