100k in a week? Holy Shit! Thank you all for your support!

With episode #17 of the Tacos & Chocolate Milk Podcast single-handedly reaching over 100,000 hits, we think its only right that QN5’s own PackFM and Tonedeff be nominated for the 2012 Podcast Awards. All YOU have to do is nominate them!

HERE’S WHAT TO DO:

STEP 2: Nominate “Tacos & Chocolate Milk w/ Tonedeff & PackFM” (URL: tacosandchocolatemilk.com) for the following categories: a) People’s Choice and b) Comedy
STEP 3: Submit your nomination and feel good about yourselves!

You can only be nominated in People’s Choice + One of the lower categories, Comedy and Entertainment are two different ones. I’m assuming you’d want to go in comedy, which better matches your show.

I don’t think they’re all necessarily past QN5 Music fans. I think the podcast has the potential to make a lot of people check out Tone and Pack’s music though.

The podcast has reached beyond the scope of blue schoolers, which is fucking sweet.

I don’t think they’re all necessarily past QN5 Music fans. I think the podcast has the potential to make a lot of people check out Tone and Pack’s music though.

Ideally, the podcast will encourage these new listeners to become hardcore blue schoolers in the near future.

Thank you all for your support with the podcast. The more we spread the word about it, the more new folks we can bring into our community. More people = more support = more releases!

Question: Knowing that more non-QN5/new potential QN5 fans are listening will you start to include QN5 music in the podcast in some way? I know you guys talk about your music now but I mean more like having a QN5 song of the week kind of thing played on the podcast? Or even talking while QN5 song instrumentals are playing in the background? Basically including the music more in the podcast to give those new listeners a taste of QN5. Saying the new Kokayi album is hot is one thing but actually playing some of his music on the Podcast may reach listeners better. I don’t know. Just trying to see if you guys are trying to take advantage of these podcast listeners who may only know you by the podcast and know nothing about the music.
