Kno’s debut solo album, Death Is Silent, is set for release on 10.12.10.

After amassing only 4 verses over the CunninLynguists’ last four releases, the Atlanta-based artist is set to step out from behind the boards on Death Is Silent, both producing the entirety of the record and handling the majority of the vocals. The record’s concept involves the inevitability of death and its impact on love, life, family and friends. The artwork was realized by Argentinian visual artist Diego Fernandez.

The album’s first leaked track, “Rhythm Of The Rain” is currently making the blog rounds, with coverage at HipHopDX, Potholes In My Blog, 2 Dope Boyz and more.

Diego did the piece in panels, and put them together for a poster later because he had some extra time on his hands. He had to alter the CD layout panels slightly to get it all matched up.

I will say—it’s cool to just order the CD. It seems like so far everyone who hasn’t copped the Obituary Edition has some sort of caveat surrounding why lol. No pressure ya’ll…in fact the profit margin might be higher for the “Standard Edition”—it isn’t like we make more money off the Deluxe. Shit, the coffin box themselves are like 6 bucks apiece. We just do it for ya’ll…something interesting.

i retract my complain, i just got my copy today and its fucking nice, not a big fan about the cover though, i prefer the glossy looking one that iFHR’s cover had but, eh, no big deal. Also, thanks for the sticker kno ive been putting them on my computer lol. now on to the disc, the whole album is fucking insane, the collabs are perfect, and my favorite track out of all of them would have to be ‘The New Day (death has no meaning)’ the strings are amazing and the samples are, well, AMAZING, year after year you continue to surprise me kno (oh and, Graveyard was ill as fuck as well)
