[TOUR] Oneirology European Tour

Natti, Deacon The Villain and Kno travel to Europe to kick off promotional touring for their upcoming studio album Oneirology. Catch CunninLynguists in your city with DJ FlipFlop and QN5’s own PackFM starting March 25th.

Oneirology, the trio’s 5th official studio album and first in 3 years, is due out March 22nd via RBC Records and Bad Taste Records. It features Big K.R.I.T., Freddie Gibbs, Tonedeff, Anna Wise of Sonnymoon and more.

So what are ya’ll prepared to do about it?

We’ve been saying the same thing for 7+ years—we can’t come to a country because you shout the name out. We have enough fans everywhere to do a show anywhere, but unless we have a contact in your city, we’re never coming there—no matter how much we might want to.

This is where you come in. You live there, you speak the language and you know if they’ve even held rap shows in your city before. Has Group Home played the local pub? Did DJ Premier’s weed carrier do a DJ set in a loft? Did the one remaining member of Onyx do an acoustic set in a basement?

Who threw it? What is their e-mail address? What is their phone number? Better yet—can you find them and ask them if they’ve heard of us and give them our info? We have 3 Twitter accounts, 3 Facebook accounts, 4 MySpace accounts and 3 websites that we check ourselves—we’re easy to find.

If you’ve never tried any of these things, yelling will solve nothing. We go to cities where promoters are prepared to pay us to rap. Those are the cities on the list above. No promoter—no show.

Example: Both Russian Federation dates were hooked up by a fan. He found the guy who throws shows, asked him if he had heard of CunninLynguists, promoter said “Hell yeah! We’ve played some Eastern European countries for relatively low fees out of respect for different economies, keep trying. Until they get a quote directly from us they are just assuming things.

Yup. Those dates are “TBA” because there is no contract on those shows yet—find someone down to throw a show in the next week or two and it can still happen.

Barcelona would have been awesome but as I’ve just read from Kno’s post, it ain’t that easy in the first place. I’m still gonna be supporting anyway, maybe one day you’ll come, maybe next time I go to a Hip Hop concert I can spread the word to anyone involved with concerts. Easier said than done though.

I don’t know what I could do now. I personally would go in Basel to see them anyway.
