Here’s a hella candid 2-part video interview with CunninLynguists by Germany’s Primat City TV shot right before their Munich stop on their European tour. In these clips, CL touches on the church in the south, Kno’s solo album, artistic honesty, German strip clubs and the seeds of their newest album Oneirology,. Natti also reveals a revelation about the groups name.

No wonder many artists doing interviews.. when you have to deal with schmucks like this guy.. totally unprepared, lazy, and mumbling his way through some gibberish he apparently had to write down to remember. I’m not expecting or suggesting a shirt & tie affair, but this guy just came of incredibly lazy and unprofessional. Starts off with, “honestly, I haven’t even listen to the whole album”.. goodness.

Thankfully.. CL know how to “control a mic” in more than one setting and kept this thing lively.. but interviewers like this deserve a swift punch to the junk before they begin with the tired questions..

Lol @ all the people calling out the interviewer. He definitely was unintentionally awkward, still good to see CL doing interviews though. They made the dude look a lot better than he should have.

Favorite Part:
Interviewer - “I’ve never been to a strip club, I’m not that kind of guy”

PAUSE.

Then they bring over the other dude to speak on the German strip club scene and Natti explains that not having big booties around makes him depressed.

The one good point the guy actually bought up was the fact that Cl just kinda is… They are so good that people who ‘dare’ listen to the group called Cunninlynguists are instantly drawn to them yet they have never had any buzz, any real wide exposure, critical accliam. I mean the critics like them but like Kno said, they have never been the group that the world has jumped on. Yet at the same time nearly everyone who I have introduced to them and made them listen has become instant fans. I’ve had friends who’s first reaction to hearing the name Cl was laughter. And thats it. Honestly, I think the name has held them back. And thats about the only reason I can think of that they aren’t big.
