IT’S FINALLY HERE! DJ JS-1 & Tonedeff’s music video for their new single “Last To Know” from the forthcoming album Ground Original 3: No One Cares’ (Available 6.21.11).

Produced entirely by JS-1, the track is dedicated to armchair A&Rs, well-meaning friends and fans that always seem to know more about your own business than you do. Tonedeff’s been leading mass sing-alongs with crowds across the country during his recent stint on CunninLynguists’ ‘Oneirology US Tour’, and now you can too!

The hilariously poignant music video for “Last To Know” was shot in Queens, NY by director Adam Buncher (Wiz Khalifa, Sharon Jones), who also directed Tonedeff’s first video, “Move In, Ride Out” way back in 2002. No animals were harmed during filming.

You are correct, sir! Last formal video since 2002. I was close to making a video for “Porcelain” and “The Distance” but things just didn’t pan out, etc. I just refuse to make BS videos for the sake of making them.

Anyhoot, I appreciate the kind words and I’m letting you know right now that I have 2 more videos in the can that you’ll see this year. I promise not to stay away that long again.

Tone literally has not let me down in any shape or form on anything he’s been involved with. Pure genius at work. The bad news is he’d have to be the one to fall off a building so that in like 8 years more people will find all of his work and appreciate it.
