Paul Dateh flips Lady Gaga – “Telephone”, Ke$ha – “Blah Blah Blah”, Rihanna – “Rude Boy” & Usher – “OMG”

Who is Paul Dateh? Well, for those of you who read your liner notes, Paul Dateh is a talented violinist (and apparently more) who’s graced Inverse’s “So Far” single and most recently, Mr. SOS’s gorgeous track “The Balance” from HILTSWALTB.

Here he is doing a multitrack audio/video mashup of himself creating layers of actual MUSIC over guilty pleasure Top 40 hits…and it’s on point. You can be certain to see more QN5-Dateh collaborations in the future. For more on Paul, peep his official site @ PaulDateh.com

He is incredibly talented! The strings just melted your damn heart, especially considering they’re a take on the derivative songs of the charts.

I must admit, he could’ve chosen a slightly better mash-up in terms of song choice, but I now think he could’ve picked any 4 songs and make it sound 5 stars!
