Remember when Tonedeff launched his official YouTube channel and promised there would be exclusive goodies posted on it? Well… here’s one of those goodies. In this video, Tonedeff performs a 100% DIY remixed cover of Cee-Lo Green’s “What Part of Forever”for kicks, taking the upbeat, country-infused original into darker, synth-laden, dream-pop territory. This cover can be found on Tonedeff’s recently released compilation project, Cold.Killed.Collected. (2005-2010) available now @ Bandcamp, but you can download it below.

I’ve seen alot of people post (outside of qn5.com) that they don’t like his singing. I think their ears are broken tbh…anyways here’s the comment that I read recently which prompted me to mention it here—-

“I thought his singing throughout the album was absolutely terrible, and the production wasn’t great. I also feel he kind of ran out of ideas on the album, because some of the songs were corny and just didn’t belong there. Overall, 6.5/10. Not Tone’s best work by any means.”

Anyways…sorry to bring up negativity…the track is fire imo…I really hope the fully sung album gets released in the future

Then why bother bringing it up? That comment was clearly made by someone who was butthurt that Tone didnt rap fast on every song. Tone outgrew trying to impress the backpack audience years ago and some of the ‘super-lyrical holy triumvirate’ fans (Canibus/Chino XL is god!) never got over it.
