Yeah, 18+ is kind of weird. Is there a lot of cigarette smoke and R rated movies playing during the show? Anyway, I’d say go for it… Pretty sure a 15 year old was at the 2006 Megashow.

So I invited a bunch of people through Facebook and said I’d pay for their tickets - that was mainly for all the people I invited who never even heard of QN5. If you’re on this forum, you should hopefully feel the guilt and pay your own way in. My kids gotta eat.

Well, good news is, that would be an awesome birthday gift, seeing how my birthday is the 10th. The bad news is, I live in RI, and just started a full time job. I don’t get out til 5…which would mean I would have to take a plane right there from work. I’ll see what I can do.

Also, what are some area hotels I should look into for staying at? Anyone from the area or even if QN5 has any suggestions would be helpful.

I’m gonna try my best to make it, not sure how feasable that would be though.

Just down the street from The Roxy (literally) is Le Montrose.

I did a search for me and my girl and for 1 night stay it will cost $250. I’m going to keep looking for places…There’s gotta be a fairly inexpensive spot in the area.

It sounds, as Chris said, like a REEEEALLY janky ass motel…but…it can’t be that bad.

I assume most people will be on the arrive August 10th, leave August 11th shit. If that’s the case, for a group rate we need 10 rooms minimum. East Coast, STAND UP!

I’m pretty sure that’s the one we stay at when we’re in LA. I’ve certainly stayed in far worse fucked up hotels. They even had an iron at the front desk! And they got a little pay-internet terminal in the lobby along with a Dasani vending machine. Can’t beat it for the price.

BUUUT… let’s see… approx. 2700 miles from Syracuse, ny to LA… say the auto gets 25mpg… thats 108 gallons of gas.. x$3/gallon = $81 per person, if you got 4 people!

I know of people’s houses along the way… I’m sure between the four of us, we could stay for free (and maybe eat for free) along the way.

I’m not 100% positive even I could do it… gotta persuade my parents to let me stay unemployed for a bit longer.

Amtrak

Well here is a tip bc I have done it Amtrak goes from NY to Union Station in L.A. Its a 3 day trip and I have done it 3 times. It is not alot of money for coach and if you tip the conductor like $20 they will let you use the 1st class showers.You can also have a bedroom which includes meals and showers and its private(thats usually what I do) but that can be expensive. Its really not a bad trip as some may think so check into that before DRIVING which is mad stressful on a trip like that….....Oh yeah you might have figured it out I DONT LIKE FLYING!!!........oh if yo do choose amtrak leave at least 5 days before the show bc Amtrak is never on time.
