Watched the Debates on Saturday….....................................

Strangely, I feel a sense of optimism that I haven’t felt in years. I hope that Obama is able the successfully navigate the roadblocks that the powers that be are sure to place in his way. He was smart by documenting a lot of his past indescretions in his books, so that they couldn’t be revealed and used against him down the road. I hope he can maintain his momentum.

first time i’ve ever felt any sort of emotion regarding a politician.

I really would like to see Obama as the prez.

Missed most of the Democrat portion as I was out with my lady, so that was kind of a bummer. The Republican portion however was just a gong show. At this point, I’m a straight Obama supporter on the Dems, and it seems like an honest race, so I try and keep steady tabs on it. The Republican side on the other hand is just pure entertainment. Everybody but Paul is just shooting wildly at the sky trying to spill out the right number and order of buzzwords to get the popular vote.

If I didn’t have to go out that night and played the Guilliani drinking game, I’d have been wasted in 10 minutes.
