Kno How Do You Make It As A Producer

I want to know how’s the best way to get known as a producer like kno, beside that his beats are freakin awesome & inspiring how did he make it cause i make some beats it’s mostly ‘‘underground’‘-ish, and all of the people around here don’t dig ‘‘underground’’ so how do you make people listen to you??? Any Producer out there who can help??

thanks Very Happy

the short answer i believe is: work work work then work some more…

even shorter answer: grustle…

1) Have lots and lots of money

2) Know someone

Just keep grinding… put out music.. listen to what people have to tell you (trust me you’ll learn alot) and just enjoy what you do.

Also, post on forums that have a few artists, producers etc posting on them..

I would say 98% of it is who you know.
2% natural ability, talent, dedication and hard work.

Yeah, I mean you can hear the result of this in the music.

I thought it was 99% is who you know. And the other .8% is how you flow

(or is that just for emcee’ing?)

Nah, that’s just for people who flunk math

That still leaves 0.2% unaccounted for…

Ask Pack where that other .2% is….

If you want to “make it” in the commercial sense, it’s all about the connections you have.

Make it like being a great producer? All you can do is practice, practice and practice. Emulate, then innovate. Then practice some assloads more. Then some more. Did I mention that you have to practice?

I’m pretty sure (and by pretty sure I mean absolutely positive) the line is: “99.9% of it is who you know, the other .01% is how you flow.” Of course, this still leaves .09% unaccounted for which has always bothered me, but he makes music not mathematical proofs so w/e.
