i’ma have three peeps with me… so that will be cool.

Thursday morning will be rough at work… but i really don’t care.

seems like there are a buttload of openers.

they better not suck or else you’ll be findin me in the back gettin my pool game on…

i have no idea who defcon or greedy irish are… but Leedz is pretty good w/ keeping times straight…. That Camp group… they’re aight.

I think I’ll be rolling sweaty and in soccer gear, cuz I have a game at 9pm…. soooooooo- ya

Im gunna be rockin the Obama shirt!

i don’t know my wardrobe yet!

another ting: the facebook event says 9pm… but the flyer says 8. hrmm.

you may be the only one there at 8…. try for 9… also, if you go early there is an amazing restaurant/bar close to HF… I don’t know the name… but say you are coming out of HFerry- turn right, cross the street, and its like the 2nd bar…. mmmmmmmgreat food, lots of alcohol….

I wish I could go early….

sunset bar and grille.

i’m goin to the avenue for dollar drafts tho, thankyouvedymuch

so, question:

who would be up for chilling before the show? if no-one is, I’ll just hang with some friends.

You think my Selective Service card will be good enough for proof of age? Wink

What the deal with parking???

Ive heard they have a small lot in the back but if thats filled am I just stuck looking for a space on Brighton Ave?

if you can’t find anything on Brighton ave, take a left onto Harvard, then a right before you cross the T tracks. There’s a small access road with lots of meters you can park at for the whole show and not pay anything.

There’s also meters behind the Star Market… offa Malvern St.. You could park there and walk 10 mins or so down Brighton.

I just recruited another person by changing my Facebook status to say I’m goin to the show. She saw it, and is now comin… if she can get a ticket at the door.

I’m gettin pretty excited… gettin outta work in 4 minutes…

sad and jealous…wish i was there!!!!

can you saay fuckin baller?? everything was great…openers were long but actually really good…sucks that stans voice was going but he still held it down, pack rocked the show…i can now truely appreciate stomp…and it goes without saying that CL owned the show…overall a great experience.

“Hiphop changed my life, Dilla changed your T-Shirt” - PackFM

show was tight..

I got there in time to check The Camp, a local Boston group that honestly gets better everytime I see them live. Most people sleep through opening acts but they had the crowd screamin C.A.M.P.! by the end of their set. Any Apathy fans out there might want to check these kids out, Apathy Executive produced their last record.

Stan’s voice was soundin real horse, like dude was hurtin. Man tho he was fightin through it with like everything he had, which you have to respect. He still rocked a nice set, and had the crowd jumpin despite the setback. I hope he drank like a gallon of tea, and a hand full of honey with like 50 cough drops when he got back to the hotel. It was great to hear “It’s You (I Think)” live, because I’ve probably had that song on steady rotation since the first time I heard it a year and a half 2 years ago….

When I first got there I saw Pack limping around the place and I was like oh no, dude is gonna be takin it easy tonight, but he did everything but. Pack was real energetic, and demanding the crowds attention as usual. Pack has a way of making you have a good time at one of his shows. I’ve been to shows where people treat the act before him like it’s a jazz cafe, and Pack will come on stage and in so many words be like “you will dance, you will yell, and you will have a goodtime”. Plus Stomp is always crazy to see live.

CunninLynguists as usual tore it down. Kinda surprises me that so much of their new ish is on a more laid back tip, but their stage show is so live. They probably did every song I’d want to hear besides the obvious “616 rewind”, and “love ain’t” which either you can’t really do with out at least tonedeff. Oh and “rain”, but obviously that’s Mr.SoS… Love hearing Hellfire live too that’s gotta be one of my top 5 favorite Kno beats of all time. When I got home last night I dusted off my copy of “Will Rap For Food”, and ripped it to my ipod. Some of those songs I hadn’t heard in a minute.

Overall it was a great show. QN5 has a way of getting on stage, and really speaking to the crowd. They don’t just rap at you, they know how to make you feel comfortable and show you a goodtime.

It was a great performance by Stan, Pack and CL. But I have to strongly disagree the openers where garbage, everytime I go to a boston show they have weak ass openers. Leedz Edutainment is nortorius for that, however it didn’t ruin the experience cause everyone from QN5 held it down lovely.

By the way any pics from the show?

I got TONS of pics, yeah I was the guy in the corner taking pics the whole time! lol

That’s a fresh photo!

Glad to see everyone enjoyed themselves! Boston’s always been one of QN5’s fav places to perform, because the Bean ALWAYS shows mad love.

Crying or Very sad @ Stan’s voice. When your voice is that deep, it tends to get beat up pretty badly from screaming at a room full of strangers every night. He definitely needs a night off.

But if he’s coughing up blood right now…he DID IT FOR Y’ALL! You gotta respect that!

Pack’s limping? Uh Oh. hahah Megashow 05 Pt. 2

true true

This was my first concert ever, so it was was an amazing experience.

The opening acts provided an interesting contrast to QN5, in that they were so boring compared to QN5. Really, just because you tell me to “put my hands in the air” doesn’t mean I’m feeling involved. I know those guys are doing their best, but as soon as QN5 took the stage, they were history. Hell, even with no voice Substantial managed to get things moving! And Pack’s stage presence was fucking insane, especially considering that he may not be as well-know as CL to the people there. And, obviously, CL blew that shit away as well.

I had heard a lot of hype about QN5’s live shows, and this show met all of my expectations and then some. OWSOME!

yea, another thing that dissapointed me about the show was that it was poorly promoted i brought 15 of my friends who if i didnt tell them about it wouldn’t of even known it was there. The QN5 guys deserve as many people as possible to attend their shows, but they proved that theyd rock any crowd despite the size. Not to say that 5 people were there, but the promo was wack and shoulda had more heads up in there.

It was dope.

I rolled in round 9:45 to a pretty terrible opening act. Motionless on stage. Meh.

The next guys weren’t too bad, actually. I think that was The Camp (?) It was the guy in the jorts…

Anyhow, I’d been pregamin with my friends for quite some time prior to the show.. so i was fairly crunk by the time I rolled thru. Saw Stan walkin around and said wattup and introduced him to my friends. Noice.

Peeped the merch table. Recognized T-Mo. Said wattup. Bought Pack’s Best (Of) CD/DVD. For the record, I have CD 65/1000.

Went back and watched the guy in the jorts finish up. Not bad… but I wanted Stan to start. He did and rocked. His beatboxin and acapellas were friggin schweet. QT was awesome live, and the intro to It’s You is a gorgeous thing to hear…

Pack kicked it up a notch. His live performance is really a special thing. He did a long acapella of something I haven’t heard before… brought out some oohs and aahs. Sik.

And CunninLynguists fuckin tore shit down. So much energy… so much stage presence. These guys have been touring a lot, perfecting their live show, and it’s obvious. The way the songs transition into one another keeps the crowd locked for the whole performance. Simply awesome.

I got more and more inebriated throughout the show. My lady friend and I hung out afterwards and chatted with Stan and Kno. I picked up the last copy of Substantial Evidence… pretty happy bout that. She bought a lady’s version of the Dirty Acres T. I got a red CunninLynguist T. Talked with Kno about the debate and the upcoming shows. Stan showed me a picture of his baby on his cell phone and how he’s dyin to see her when he gets back to the DMV area. Always good shootin the shit witchall.

Then the bouncer told us we had to leave.

All in all an awesome nite.

Since no one seems to have posted reactions yet… the show was AMAZING! It was my first show ever and .. there’s just so much to say but I’m gonna leave it at that. Definitely lived up to all the hype I’ve heard about QN5 (and especially PackFM) live Very Happy

edit: wow for some reason, when I was writing this up no one had posted reactions. My praise still stands lol
