Gettin off work at 8 here in Charlotte, then driving like a bat outta hell to Raleigh with 3 friends. Hope CL doesn’t come on till 10:30 cause we’d hate to miss any songs. Shit though, even if we only get to see a couple songs it’s gonna be more than worth it. Good luck on the show tonight!!

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh such a great performance by CL & by substantial. great set. it was my first time seeing them live and first time meeting them it was great. i needed that today. like actually actually. haha. best live show i’ve seen… purrrriod. PEACE

Big props to CL & Substantial for putting on a world class hip hop show last night in NC. Definitely worth the 2 1/2 hour drive. Heard almost every song I could have hoped for. Really appreciate you guys coming down to do this, and I hope y’all can make it back again.

Good to see Caesar too, he emcee’d the Little Brother show that just came through Charlotte. (Which, and I got nothin but love for JL, made us all appreciate your show that much more, as you guys easily topped them)

On a light note, one of the 4 CL fans I brought up with me tried to pass a joint to the extremely rotund security detail. Bad move. He was escorted outside right as “Beautiful Girl” started up (ironic, no?). At least they let him watch from the back door. In Charlotte, we have several great venues where you’d just be asked to put it out. (Not even that, really) Most of the personnel there was great though, by the way. So we didn’t have time to stick around after you guys finished, had to keep our friend out of the cold, but we still copped t-shirts!
