For the love of god, Brits…don’t flake on this one.

That’s what’s up.

I don’t suppose you guys’ll know when the gig might finish? I need to find a way home on public transport - really don’t want to have to leave the gig early. (Tickets say it starts at 7:30)

Same. Last train back is 11.30 for me.

Actually, there’s a slight slight chance I could drive - does anybody know if there’s anywhere to park in London?

Parking is no problem

This is gonna be hectic!!
Anyone know how many tickets have been sold?
Really hope it’s packed and we show the QN5 fam how we roll in the UK.

I wouldn’t mind to know when it’s finishing either (i hope as late as possible but i know they gotta travel to ‘Dam pretty much straight after the show - as kno was saying)
Train or Car…unsure atm.

Getting juiced more and more by the day.

I actually considered driving, I contacted a rep for The Luminaire and they said parking is no problem in and around the road.

Brilliant thanks.

I think I’d get madd lost driving around London - but at least I now know it’s a realistic possibility.

In terms of public transport - would you be thinking about catching the tube to paddington station? I can see a lot of us dashing back to catch the last train.

The Luminaire is about three miles away from Paddington Station.

Someone said a taxi from The Luminaire to Paddington is around

Yeah, a taxi is probably the smartest move. Hmm

We do what we can to have music over by 11.10 in order that those of you who’re catching the Overground train can go ahead and do so, but look, if a headline band decides to play a couple of encores there’s not a lot we can do about it.

Kinda funny that I want CL, who I’ve been desperate to see for years, to finish early.

I wouldn’t mind being stuck in London with CL lmao

Just party til 5am when the tube opens up again.

Also, for those that consider driving to the show..

They’re not in the congestion zone, so don’t worry about that.

Have fun.

yes this will be my first time in london Smile
thanks nova norway.

For everyone going to the London show. We should arrange to go for a drink before the show. Just chill or something.

I get to paddington station at like 6:15.. would be cool to do something before the gig (don’t think it’s going to take me an hour to get there).

From google street view it looks like there’s a pub next door to the luminairre too.

I’m going to London for 1PM.. Go and see some shit around town first.

that sounds cool. like 1-2 hour before the show we should go to the pub next door, and have a few beers.

Can’t wait for this - long time fan - newbie on the forum!

Been wating for a CL show too damn long!

Good idea, Scott!

I’m coming down on the train with my son, we thought about the taxi to Paddington business, but decided in the end it’d be easier to get a hotel for the night so we don’t have to worry about rushing back.

It sucks living so far away. I want to see Devin The Dude on May 4th in the Luminaire as well, but I wont be able to afford it.

Can’t believe I’m going to see CL in a few days. Still a bit worried about the whole last train back thing.. I booked the next day off work but don’t think I can afford to stay overnight in London.

Does anyone know when merchandise will be on sale? I’d hate to miss my chance to pick some stuff up.

Oh and I don’t suppose any UK blueschoolers are contemplating the megashow?

EA> Looks like there will be a few of us there.

Stay over! That’s what I’m doing. You don’t have to faff around worrying abotu catching the late train (maybe missing some of the show?).

You should be able to get a room around Paddington for 50-60 quid easily, if not cheaper. Half of that is money you’d be spending on cabs anyway.

Try http://www.laterooms.com, or there’s a list of (even closer?) hotels posted upthread.

HOSTELS FOR ABOUT 20 POUNDS.

ENGLAND BLUE SCHOOLERS: CLICK THIS LINK

Why don’t you guys all get together and pay about 20 pounds each for a hostel. They probably sleep 10 per room…but you can all book for as many as you want, if you’d prefer the comfort of fellow blue schoolers. I stayed in a hostel with a couple other blue school strangers for Megashow 2005, and it was one of the better times of my life.

(Pause)?

Yes. Hanging out with people and enjoying the time is very gay.
