Those are comment brackets, so it looks like that message was intentionally hidden in there.

If you try to save the picture there the file name is also “catm_key”


However, I don’t think this is anything really new.. We already know that any new updates will come from Twitter, unless there will be more hidden messages on twitter in the future.. like the background file name.

This is a picture from the Chico & The Man facebook page I’ve been wondering about for a few days.. I don’t know if it’s significant or not, seeing as “twitter is the key,” not facebook.. but it’s not the regular picture we see on Twitter or in the CATM:Work For It avatars.

Part of me wonders if it could be cover art, but I don’t know if they’d keep it that simple or not.

There are two small spaces you can highlight on the qn5.com/catm page near the top left corner. If you start in the top left corner, hold down the left-button on your mouse, and move toward the bottom right corner you should see the small tabs become highlighted as well. I couldn’t find any significance to them, but I thought that someone else may be able to determine if there’s anything to it or if it’s unimportant.


I came across it because I thought the mostly empty, plain black background was a perfect place to hide some sort of clue, but that was all I found.

If we take the idea that ‘twitter is the key’ to mean right now (ie not referring to future updates, but what’s there currently) then I think it must be in relation to the background.

On the twitter page, there is very little - only the 3 clues already mentioned here. The only thing ‘new’ is the background, which as shown in the other thread is a picture of potentially ‘pale mist’ and is named ‘Fulgencio Batista 01/01/1959’ which I think must be the ‘key’.

That ‘key’ then must work to ‘unlock’ the meanings of the 3 primary clues. I also think the HCK reference works with the 3rd clue.. but I don’t think we’ve worked out exactly how yet. And then there’s of course ‘My Lady’ which might hopefully validify potential ideas we develop.

This is what I’m thinking anyway, taking everything into account.

to add to the mystery… the last part is written in a special font….. called ‘georgia’.
i don’t think i need to point out the signifigance of this.

also the picture in itself is 500x500px. obviously a reference to the daytona 500 nascar race which takes place in daytona beach, florida. cuba/florida. come on. we all saw scarface. ooh! another clue. maybe it’s a reference to geto boys. we all remember the whole story with bushwick bill, who blew his eye out. it might hint to a theme…

i think i’m onto something here.

of course, it might just be a clue that mr sos is entering next years daytona 500.

but this might just be what this particular place is calling a “pale mist” flower but I couldn’t find a flower called a “pale mist.” I found something called a mistflower—“Fine, almost ferny, narrow leaves on stems topped with corymbs of delightful, white flowers from August-November.”
