..what other things would you like to see of the Chico & The Man name?

-I hope there are a couple really dope shirts.

-I think if the story is driven by elements from history or is really in depth as possibly suggested by the Fulgencio Batista clue, some extra explanation or something within the album’s booklet could be cool to coincide with the music.

-Poster(s).

-Of course, instrumentals, however the likeliness is vague and I personally believe bleak.

I know it’s maybe asking to much, but if the album is as complexe as it looks, a dvd like there was on Archetype would be nice! I really loved that dvd and I still do!

I definitely second the DVD idea. Archetexture was a big part of what made Archetype so great.

Yeah, I really love it when albums come with the lyrics written in the booklet.
Especially when they are albums with a little depth.
APOS being a prime example.

Posters. I know CATM will already be amazing, and most likely my favorite album ever when it drops. And i need to re-do my room, so i a CATM poster would definitely be up there.

A remix album? Why? We’re gonna be getting classic production work from The Man. Maybe a remix album by him would be dope…

i think lyrics in the booklet is kind of a given, especially since we’re talking about tonedeff here right?
i’d love a DVD (with a video and/or commentary for each song?), but it might be expensive and time-consuming.

A DVD with commentaries, the lyrics in the booklet (obviously). In the DVD, it would be fun to see where every song came from and how they worked on it, the issues they dealt with, etc. I’d like to see the songs from the point of view of the artists involved. CATM! I don’t even care if the commentaries are made using a Handheld Cam and it’s all shaky lol. Just to see a song from the artist’s point of view takes the song to a whole other level.

yea def would be sick, tone walkin thru the writing process and kno breaking down the production (however that is highly classified information and i assume will never be revealed)

lyrics&dvd;, but i don’t think a remix album would be appropriate. cuz you know, when i spin apos i’m just like “wow, this is just like it has to be, almost flawless” and i don’t want to hear it in another way, and that applies to catm, becaaaause I DO THINK that this release will be, at least, at the same level as apos is. ya dig?

I just rewatched Archetexture tonight, for probably the 20th time.

I REALLY REALLY hope there is a DVD explaining the production/commentary for every track. Especially for an album like this with so much potential and work put into it.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I was thinking an art book would be really cool…especially with the role the clues have been playing this whole time. What I would want in it:
Lyrics to all the songs
Every clue (maybe even some hidden clues about the album throughout the book)
Album artwork and all the pictures used during the scavenger hunt (delaroche, hellmouth, the fetuseahorse etc.)
Poems
Short stories

I don’t know, I just think it would work really well with a record like this.

Dvd would also be cool: 1000 ships video, documentary and live catm performances from the megashow.

So close to release I’m sure they already have everything planned for the deluxe edition and I have no doubt it’s gonna be amazing but I just like to speculate on things like this.
