LOL My wife wasn’t there. She was at home with the baby and had to get up extra super freakin early for iPhone launch. Who’d you think was my wife? The merch girl?

It was a great show for old-school QN5 heads. Chapter 13 and Cashmere both rocked it. I always enjoy Cashmere’s performances, dude puts out a lot of energy and always seems to be having a blast up there (him doing “Smoke Out” with Deacon last night was def a highlight).

SOS’s new material was great live. I especially liked Apocalyptic Doomsday, Bionic and Dr. Strangelove. SOS was on point with the flows too.

Got to see a lot of vintage CL, which of course was a treat: Old School, Seasons, Nasty Filthy, Doin’ Alright, Rain, The South, and a couple others I think. I don’t think too many people in attendance realized how rare a live performance of those songs is these days.

But yeah, good times all around. The crowd was very Atlanta-ish (lots of standing around), but that comes with the territory of all music scenes in Atlanta. There’s a lot of music talent here, but audiences leave a lot to be desired IMO.

Thanks for the recap! I’m glad the show went well. I’m excited to see his new material live. I imagine crazy lights and theatrics, especially for songs like “Apocalyptic Doomsday” and “MK Ultra”... I may be wrong, but that would be AWESOME.

This actually exactly what happened I was like WTF is this about Wink Oh and I wasn’t buying iPhones for me or SOS I work for Apple so I had to get up at 3 am for launch day… I will hopefully be at the Mega Show, I’ll keep my eyes open for my “hot” substitute Wink
