Same as the code found on the White Mariposa site. No way that can be a coincidence. Does this confirm that site is definitely fictional? *scours website again*
holy crap another one!
shit my spainsh aint up to par aaaaahhh someone help!
hahahhaha
EDIT
ok i used an online translator to get it to french from which i translated into english:
each point confirms that which is last (ie the one at the end).
to be really honest, i’m not sure what to make of it, other than the obvious.
it could be each point confirms the last (as in previous). but i doubt it.
however, if this is the case,
i’m just going to venture that its explaining that each clue confirms the previous one. but in addition it must (presumably) give us more, seeing that its a clue, and thus the 6th one must confirm something that this one is pointing us to. unless i’m way off of course. or (as epic aesthetic has already pointed out) it is the last.
I would say that we get a new clue everytime we have “solved” the one before, meaning come close to what they wanted us to know.
thus the next clue shows us that the assumptions we have made before were in fact correct.
each clue confirms the discussion about the last one, that is how i would read this one.
and this one shows us: the website is launched by qn5.
If the place we are supposedly calling is abandoned but still accepts phone calls, you could maybe assume that it exists in a reality that took place 45 years ago… that we’re essentially digging up clues of what the content of the album will become a prequel to. That totally flaws some logic of having a website to begin with though so who knows.
Is the whole Cuban Revolution thing still being taken into consideration?
If so 45 years ago would have been 1964, which if I remember rightly, was the year that Che Guevara delivered in a the UN Headquarters in New York, where there were two failed attempts to murder him. I can’t find a link between these, but I know the Cuban Revolution was mentioned in another thread, so there may still be a possibility.
Also, this page shows a timeline of Cuban History between 1959-1979. Scroll down to see if anything that happened in 1964 has any significance to the previous hints about Cuba. http://www.historyofcuba.com/history/time/timetbl4.htm
Tone hasn’t directly commented on anything besides finding the item for number 4 and letting us know him & Kno are serioius that if we don’t “work for it” they’re not going to release the album.. and well.. that just can’t happen.
If “cada punto confirma el ultimo” means ALL of them are essentially connected, but say you’re not going to understand 4 and 1 if you try to put them together, you can only understand them when examining 4 with 3, 3 with 2, and 2 with 1.. Well then.. let me babble:
The White Mariposa Memorial Services site is relative to the image in the fanzine of a White Mariposa flower AND Mariposa Blanca butterfly.. Well, they have to do basically with deceased loved ones, the ocean, and Cuba.. and a lil ol’ Fetuseahorse from 2250 Collins Avenue in Miami, Florida (and I’m wondering WHY that address).
The image in the Fanzine (white mariposa flower & butterfly) relates to the Maya Angelou quote “love keeps the stars in the firmament and imposes rhythm on the ocean tides.” Well, the fanzine wouldn’t exist without the love of the fans. I don’t know what else to say about that.
“Love keeps the stars in the firmament and imposes rhythm on the ocean tides” is connected to “waiting to breathe.” I think this is where the Fetuseahorse logo comes into play.. a child created out of love (“imposed rhythm” - heartbeat. on the “ocean tide” - seahorse/carrier? the fetus itself?) which has yet to be born. Plus the continuation of the quote is about people being created “for it” and “of it”. “It” being love.
So basically, it’s all love.
Being created of/for love. Existing because of love. Loving those lost (?). And me being awake at 4:01am thinking about an album because I love QN5 Music.
Another thing, not really related to these 5 clues that have come up on Twitter, etc.
The Megashow Intro video talked about the world becoming ‘self-aware’ and having a sense of ‘global responsibility’ after the release of the album. Along with this statement and the issues Tone talks about in “No Hope,” maybe the album deals with problems affecting people worldwide. The child we’ve heard about and that is shown in the Fetuseahorse image could be a truly life-changing ‘event’ for the protagonist of CATM.
To quote Mr. SOS from ‘Time Capsule’, “I just want a better world for my daughters.”
If our character is having a child, maybe he’s taking a step back and reflecting on all the issues that are affecting people worldwide and how he wants a better world for his own offspring. The ‘story’ might not deal with a man trying to change the world, but doing what he can to protect (Fetuseahorse image) his own child from the cruelty the world has to offer. Then, of course, WHY? Love.
There’s a man working to raise a child to the best of his ability. There’s also a mother, of course, but she doesn’t seem to be portrayed in the light the father does at this point. Maybe she passes away early in the child’s life and we have a single father left to build this foundation for his child by himself? He’s working to do whatever he can for his offspring, because he loves them/him/her.
Orrr.. maybe this is all irrelevent and I’m just having fun.
I haven’t seen this pointed out yet, so sorry if I’m behind. I don’t think it’s really revelatory, but might be helpful anyway.
Mariposa, which is spanish for butterfly, is also a slang term for a gay man in Latin American countries. A sea horse is also the only specie of animals, to my knowledge, in which the man gives birth rather than the woman. So I think there’s a pretty direct connection to the fetuseahorse image and the term “mariposa”. And I would assume that this confirms the fetuseahorse/butterfly as two symbols of the main character in the story.
If I HAD to try to guess at a plot synopsis, I would put it like this:
A cuban-american flees the country circa 1960 due to the hostilities during the Cuban Revolution. If I had to say an exact year I’d say 1964. However, his loved one (likely another man) is left behind for reasons unknown. Once in the US, he wants to come back to get his lover but is delayed 45 years, until 2009, for reasons that I would imagine are explained in the album/later clues. Perhaps it takes him 45 years to save up the money for a boat… something like that. After acquiring the means to come back, he is finally reunited with his lost love after almost half a century of seperation. Perhaps “fanned by a pale mist the heart flutters” is talking about his journey back to Cuba via a sail boat, and the image of the butterfly and the rose is a symbolic depiction of his journey back to Cuba.
Obviously that’s a bare bones interpretation, but that’s all I can get from the clues thus far.

Wow. Now THAT is closer to the caliber of material I’d expect from Chico and the Man. However, I really don’t think it’s going to be a gay love story as evidenced by My Lady. Everything else though seems really spot on and is the first theory I’ve read that seems like a realistic possibility.
I just had to register to make that comment, perhaps I’ll also post elsewhere.
I don’t know if this theory has been posted before, so forgive me if it was.
It was theorized mostly by a friend of mine who is too pussy to post it himself.
The clues seem to indicate a progression of time
Waiting to breathe…if we look to the obvious, it would indicate that it’s a baby waiting to be born. We look to the image of the fetuseahorse to confirm this. The seahorse was on a Cuban coin in 1994, though I’m not certain what this year might have to do with anything, but it could indicate that the child is going to be born in poverty and that money might be another issue
love keeps the stars in the firmament and imposes rhythm on the ocean tides - maya angelou
“imposes rhythm on the ocean tides” could talk about how a lady will be giving birth to this child, and the heart will be “imposing rhythm.” Basically, he’s born on the ocean, probably in a boat, and there’s a new rhythm contributing to the ocean tides.
But wait!
_fanned by a _pale mist the heart _flutters
I think the “heart flutters” might refer to a condition of the heart, an atrial flutter. “Atrial flutter is an abnormal heart rhythm that occurs in the atria of the heart.” This could be referencing the “imposes rhythm” as if to say that it’s not a natural rhythm, but a very fast rhythm. Or, perhaps the baby dies while on the boat from a severe cold from the ocean winds, or the “pale mist.”
Then the next clue was the reach white mariposa…maybe they need to reach this boat to get to America to fix whatever condition is going on with this child. Since they’re shuttling people across to America. And of course, the white mariposa is the state flower of cuba, though I’m not sure if that ties in with anything other than nationalism.
And the last clue, not sure if this is telling us anything other than the obvious, that each clue references the last to build upon it.
Many of the lines in the first verse of “My Lady” confirm this theory:
“So regal, beautiful
Too bad I’ll never see the funeral” Well, if the baby dies, he or she wouldn’t be able to see their own funeral.
“I hear your cries as you’re consumed
Your spirit ride, illumining under the twenty thousand hues of blue” -The baby acknowledges his mother’s anxiety while she rides on The White Mariposa. The “twenty thousand hues of blue” is probably referring to the ocean.
“Mom and dad arguing again
Saw your chance, so I guess you took it” - Mom and dad could be referring to the two sides on the Cuban war, and she saw the chance to escape so she took it.
“I would later be groomed to lose” Maybe from the heart condition, as his “heart flutters”, he dies at an early age.
“But as dawn advances I bid you adieu” Another indication of death.
Overall, every CATM song and clue has to deal with not only life, but with death. http://Www.Whitemeriposa.com is a memorial website with the image of a ship. The baby in the mother’s womb possibly died on the ship?
In “No hope” - “There’s an equal amount of life within a last gasp and a first breath” (Granted, it won’t be on the album but it is still the work of CATM).
The second verse of “My Lady” doesn’t quite fit well with this theory, so I am still confused.
Also, this may or may not be known already, but the phone number listed on Whitemariposa.com is out of service. Hmmm?
i think it is impossible to tell which theory is correct, because the clues are so sparse that they can be connected in multiple absolutely diferent scenarios.
i think the baby theory has one big problem: the website brings people back to cuba…

So this Album’s release rests completely on the actions of this board?
This would make for a great movie, except that no one would see it.
Didnt Tone say that there would be new clues in the near future?
I am waiting for it, we seem to be stuck in a place where we cannot guess what direction to go with our fucked up thoughts. The next clue should give us some direction.
