Incaspic said:So I just spent a good 2 hours researching a hunch about the website which may have just been Tone’s bad Spanish grammer.
The slogan on the top of the page says “Su Amigo Para Mas De 45 Anos”
Now technically this does translate to “Your Friend For More Than 45 Years”
But the use of the word “Para” instead of the more proper “Por” implies the slogan means “WILL BE Your Friend For More Than 45 Years”
At first I just brushed it off as a grammer typo but the voicemail recording does specifically say “Por” instead of “Para”.
So. In 45 years it will be 2054. I googled 2054 with everything relating to the previous clues.
And after 2 hours…. I got nada.
Totally agree with the por/para thing. My spanish isn’t great but i recognized this as well fairly quickly. Tone wouldn’t have made this mistake unless it meant something. The use of por doesn’t only imply future. Only uses of por:
Rule: to indicate destination
Rule: to show the use or purpose of a thing
Rule: to mean “in order to” or “for the purpose of”
Rule: to indicate a recipient
Rule: to express a deadline or specific time
Rule: to express a contrast from what is expected
Rule: “estar para” to express an action that will soon be completed
Note sure what this means or if it’ll but hopefully someone smarter than me can figure it out
Okay, just joined, been following the clues for awhile, and I think I have something figured out. For the record, I have read every single post but I have the memory of a goldfish so forgive me if I repeat something that has already been said. Also, I tend to have a very hard time saying what I am thinking but I am going to do my best. So here it goes:
First off, I think “White Mariposa” is Kno. As far as the butterfly thing goes, here is my thought. Butterflies are known for bouncing from one sexual partner to another.
Perhaps in this case music is sex and the various genres are different “partners”. Meaning that with each track in the upcoming album, Kno is going to fuck with each genre and turn it into a hip hop masterpiece. As for the fetusahorse, it looks to me that the fetus is wearing headphones and a backpack. Symbolizing “backpack rap” perhaps?
As for the seahorse, I read earlier that they give birth to hundreds of offspring. Maybe what Tonedeff and Kno are trying to get at is that this album is going to defy all laws of musical physics and create a new type of hip hop that will take hundreds by surprise, fans and haters alike. Opening everyones eyes to a new type of musical diversity that has never before been seen!!
Alright, well I’m going to end it there. I’ve started confusing myself. Not sure if anything I said makes sense. But either way, this album is going to be epic!!! CAN’T WAIT!! PEACE!!

yet… what does this tell us about catm?
does it say anything, besides the fact we all know: kno is a fucking beast and uses whatever he wants to make whatever he wants?

That’s just brilliant, seriously.
i thought a “pause” moment was about to occur, but good point
That’s very clever treuth. I agree. As far as the picture goes, I agree too. Also looks like the headphones and the spine combine as one unit. And therefore the child can perhaps symbolize the new hip-hop genre that is about to be born.
Have we decided to give up on figuring out Clue 5 or did I miss something saying we’ve finished with the clues…it seems like everyone’s been pretty stagnant and is just trying to guess when the release is. If what they say is true, we won’t get a release until we’ve decoded all the clues correct?
Anyway, my only theory revolves around the protagonist leaving Cuba to start a new life in Florida and 45 years later is returning to Cuba for some reason.
alrite….wow this is truly complicated and very broad with the clues but i will give my opinion on deciphering it whew…...
ok well first off just to say no hope and my lady are two classic joints and i feel they or at least my lady more so kinda set the stage for the lp. I believe a combination of different responses i’ve read in all the threads. I believe the overall theme for the album will be that a baby will be born on the way to america on the journey by boat from cuba in 1964. dealing with the loss of his mother and struggling with the distance from family. after many years of lifes struggles will deal with the loss of another loved one in cuba and finally return. throughout the album i feel somewhat an auto biography type of Tone’s actual life mixed with the elements of this fictional character combined. Elements of the person listed on the white mariposa site as well as that batista dude…hmmm…idk but on a side note lmao at that cat that said its about the love story of WWE’s Dave Batista lol, you got it dude!!!! But anyway also dealing with moving to different parts of the country, world struggle, common man struggle, love and loss.
wow, i kinda actually can go a million different ways with this but feel maybe this may be it. damn Tone you truly do got us blue schoolers working for it!!! Yodel!!! Please drop another clue, this whole scavenger hunt is so intriguing i can’t wait for the next one, til then i’m a keep on researching and thinking!!! CATM!!!!!
I wish tone would drop more music but i do believe in quality over quantity and everything he drops just amazes me more and more as time passes. I talked with Tone and Kno after a show maybe about ‘06ish and asked them when the album is dropping and kno said that he gave Tone the beats he jus needed to write, so with the years passing I feel Tone really is putting together something truly epic, that no one has ever done before. on a whole new level, upping the bar so to say so even though i can’t wait I kno (pun intended) that this album will be probably one of the greatest albums of all time and that’s an understatement. too much than words can truly say. From just No Hope and My Lady, I have been jammin and talking and thinking about these songs since they dropped and got me so amped to hear more. Can’t wait for everything in store for 2010. QN5 Baby!!!!
