It’s crazy but I am STILL learning new things about this album, and Oneirology will be around before I know it! Lol. The same thing happened when DA came out, I hadn’t finished with APOS yet and they were sliding a new CD my way saying, ‘here, listen to this kid’.
Might be totally wrong on this but was just listening to SJ Vol.2 again and… on the outro “Arrival”, the BTTF reference: “Where we going we dont need roads”

Was that a small hint/reference for Oneirology?
I think that’s probs just the BTTF ref.
So everyone, after it’s all sunk in….Vol. 1 vs. Vol. 2??
I think it’s a tough call but Vol. 1 just shades it for me. Die For You, The Distance, Spark my Soul, Never Come Down, Don’t Leave Me, KKKY (Remix), Nothing But Strangeness are all CL classics in my eyes.
Volume 2 is pretty amazing too, I still play one or the other pretty solidly, I can’t believe how good the Strange Journey project turned out to be, and it just makes me eager for Oneirology.
ya i think I prefer Vol. 1, cus of Die For You, The Distance, When Winter Comes, Spark My Soul, Move, and Never Come Down. those songs are just insane.
Vol. 2 is a really close contender but I think since vol. 1 has marinated in my mind for longer than Vol. 2, i may have more bias, but I think both albums are fuckin amazing. Streets, To Be For Real, Still With Me, Close Your Eyes, Running Wild, and Nothing to Give live are all so badass.
Just listened to Still With Me for the nth time, could be the best song on most albums and is only on a mixtape type album. CL, and Jermiside in this case, just shit out great songs.

yes, such a great song… i really wish they’d do an extended mix with 2 more verses or something
LOL!! well, thank you Kno Claus! u replied within 2 minutes of me posting it! so I guess that’s the original with your beat? I didn’t realize Jermiside made a different verse for the SJV2 version. I think his SJV2 verse is better than all 3 on the other one haha. Thanks for the heads up Kno!
this is a really dope album, Jermiside really shines on it. it amazes me how much better Kno’s Still With Me beat is compared to the other one. it also sets a totally different tone, one thats much more remorseful. Thanks for lettin me know about this Kno!
