Substantial › Does anyone here watch “Flash Forward”?

That show is fucking awesome.  I know so folks don’t like it because it reminds them of Lost but, I’m a fan.  Just curious to know what you all think.

its an ok show, i love the idea…it woulda made a better movie tho..doesnt need to be dragged out for 13wks
my biggest problem is theres not alot of action and they dont really have much to say during the whole episode until the last 10 mins

Quoted for truth. But I still enjoy the show. Wondering how they play out the concept of destiny and investigating the Flash Forwards from this point on. Between that dude’s daughter coming back and the agent saying “Fuck April 29th, I’m out!” I’m really curious about how much things are shaking up.

Also.. girl who plays Nicole makes me smile.

I saw the first episode and it really pulled me in, like it looked mad dope. I’ve only seen one episode since then and it didn’t interest me as much as the first episode did. Am I really behind though? How many episodes have there been?

I’m a half-fan right now, really like the idea but I keep getting dragged back by some mediocre acting. I’m sticking with it for now though because I love the whole free will vs. fate debate, can they change it or are they stuck on a path (if this type of thing interests you too I suggest Lost Season 5 and Kurt Vonnegut’s ‘Slaughterhouse 5’).

And I don’t have no problem with it reminding me of Lost, because i’m a total Lost groupie. I basically ran home from work to watch ‘The Incident’ in May and have been waiting for January ever since.

Good points by everybody.  Last week was definitely a great show and definitely shook things up.  Waiting to see how everything plays out next week.  The death club concept was really dope too. 

I do agree with Pack on the movie thing though.  Would make for an interesting 2:30 minute flick.

@5 I believe there have been at least 4 maybe 5 episodes.  I missed one of them so I’m not sure.

They kind of killed that with the dude jumping of the roof though.


And I really hope they won’t try to somehow make more than one season of this. So far I’m a fan, but not completely convinced.

Yeah, i’ve just finished watching that episode. Kinda fucks up the whole concept really. I’ll stick with it though.

I agree with you on that one, they should certainly not make more than 1 season, how could they possibly do more seasons and still keep it interesting?

I’m a little unsure about tonight’s episode though.  Got a feeling that I’m not gonna like this whole decide to tell the world we did it over a card game plot.  A tad lame.  But again…

No worries though!
I wouldn’t mind more seasons if they are creative with it, but I have seen too many shows that start of well and then they just fall off terribly, and that’s just too irritating..

Think about it, when’s the last time you saw a prime-time show on some drama/sci-fi shit that featured an (HOT) Asian-American male lead that didn’t play up stereotypes?

However, I am with those who say that overall the acting is mediocre.

Didn’t even knew it was thanksgiving though, I took it as a sign from God to start studying for my exams. Now I’m just waiting ‘til he grants me some motivation & self discipline, and I’m good to go!

finally caught up. Some episodes fucking stall until the last minute to just throw a twist in, but when they get a good episode in, it is good. With a pretty big cast, they should sort of do what Lost does and focus on one character’s flash, while pushing the overall story forward. The last two or so have done that pretty well.
