When Tone tweeted about a song he was writing over a JS-1 beat my mind thought of it being an Asterisk 5 track PERHAPS???

Substantial said that efamm would take very long because the songs take so much time to make and because sign language and wwkya both even delayed his album releases.

In some way I hope that tone didn’t get caught up in complicated efamm stuff, cause we all know we want that CATM.

And then Kno goes and says “this joint with tonedeff SHOULD be out this year”...why can’t he leave that should away?? haha

Ugh, I hate how Tone does this all the time, he mentions how he can’t wait to tell us something and BAM! we’re stuck waiting in anticipation, trying to figure it out. Can’t we just get a little taste of the new music? Is it possible to calm our anticipation or enhance it with some goodies? Just asking

Well when you think about it CATM has had two singles drop over the last few years, though presumably only one will make it to the album. A third was at the Megashow. We also got a taste of ‘Sunrise’ live at the Megashow. So stuff’s definitely in the works; I think it’s just a matter of when the right time to debut it is.

I prefer this sort of mystery announcement to being told something specific is coming and hearing a single off of it only to find, a year later, that due to politics it’s still not out, or that the project was just an idea and didn’t end up panning out.

i would pay top dollar for the Sunrise opening of tone’s set, that shit made my summer

not rly, he was involved in maybe what 10 songs last year? stop reaching, we both know what I’m talking about

“Chico and the Man” has been pushed back A LOT, but if you’ve been following the project’s progress as much as some of us you wouldn’t be so negative about it this year.

And just because Tone wasn’t involved (as far as writing & production) with a ton of music that was released in 2009 doesn’t mean all he did last year was write & record The Distance and his verse for The WWKYA Tour. C’mon now.
