Have y’all heard Common’s unreleased track “Next Time”? I just did and found it pretty interesting to hear a song by one of Tone’s musical influences using the same sample found in “Close”. Maybe this can be used as a conversation starter and they can collaborate on a track now? lol /wishfulthinking

hahaha SHIT i was just about to start a thread about this. i thought the song was pretty good… need to listen to the lyrics more closely but i thought Karriem Riggins did an excellent job with the beat, which makes relatively different use of the sample from tonedeff’s version (i love the beat on that too).
