I’ve been listening to both albums all weekend. Still cant believe how Kokayi is soo slept on, every time I listen to something new (to me) by him, I’m amazed…

The song does not actually exist on any album. its a tune the Bass player Ezra (from both Opus Akoben and theCaesarz) came up with. We started using it in shows as a transition to infuse the set with non recorded material and to freestyle (no blackberry/no writtens) over a beat. Over time in got better and better, at this last show in Amiens, Ezra pulled that out of the bag and we murdered it.

Been playing the record a decent amount of times since last week. The chorus on Forgive Me is so addictive! Open Your Eyes stay getting played, regardless of mood.. Sounds a bit Freestyle Fellowship influenced, am I correct? Especially the first verse could’ve been a part of Park Bench People part 2 :p

But yeah, big ups for this Kokayi! Great album Very Happy
