Chico And The Man July 26th Movement

OK, so I know we haven’t had any clues in a while, and this could be a stretch. But, we know a few things:

1. CATM is the next album dropping after IFHR, according to the live stream
3. There are 10 planned releases from QN5 this year
2. We know the album is heavily influenced by themes of Cuba

That being said, I wanted to look into the Cuban Revolution (as that seems to be where a few of the clues pointed to). I was looking for important dates, and came accross this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/July_26th_Movement Basically, that is the start of the Cuban revolution. Could the date have any impact on the release date of the album? Going back to the three earlier points, if QN5 is going to release 10 projects this year, they will need to start releasing a few of them shortly. We know IFHR is coming (end of May (digital)/June (CD)) soon. If CATM is the next album, then a July release makes sense. And to relate to the theme of the Cuban revolution, this would be an attack, per se, on hip hop’s current environment.

So, what do you guys think? Possible hint towards the release date? Not that there was a clue pointing specifically to this, but just from some of the other stuff we do know about.

July 26th is a Monday.. so probably not a release date, but could end up being something else. Though it seems more coincidental as they were trying to push the album out Winter 2009.

Yeah, after I posted it, I looked up the day of the week and saw it was a Monday Sad There goes that theory lol.

Monday is the common release date for many European countries, so don’t completely disregard the date just yet

a theme video?
