That looks like a good film, i’ll check it. Love the trippy animation effect, same one is used for ‘A Scanner Darkly’. That movie really messed with my head, I need to read the book.

So I had this dream literally 30 minutes ago that QN5 artists set out a day to hangout with the blue schoolers and the artists were getting to know everyone one on one. After waiting for a while, it was finally my turn to meet Tone and we sat down to talk. He was going to talk about all this upcoming QN5 stuff and right then my mom woke me up…arghhhhh! I just hate it when dreams have to end abruptly like that! I tried so much to go back to sleep so I could pick up where we left off but it won’t come back =/

I had a dream that I was confronting my dad I haven’t spoken to in over a year about why in our old house and one of my current (female) co-workers was walking around the house naked.. and it somehow turned into eating some weird jello inside a huge cafeteria with friends.

It’s weird. When my dreams seem to lead up to some big moment, I always wake up JUST as that moments about to occur. I dunno why that happens, but it’s disappointing.

Deac: APOS seemed like such a surreal, dreamlike album. It had that vibe throughout the whole album. Maybe it was more weed inspired than dream inspired.

I had a dream last night, not sure what it was about but I remember waking up and I thought there was someone sitting on the chair in my room. Flipped the switch on my light to make sure I wasn’t still sleeping and I was awake, no one was there. So then I went right back to sleep with the intention of going back into that same dream. I think I made it back too. As I type this I’m getting flashes of the dream, it involved walking home at night, girls from my past, and some kinda mystical booze.

I hate when I know I had a dream but I can’t remember many details. I think maybe dreams are a supplement to our reality.

I’ve been trying to train myself to have a lucid dream. So if I have a dream, I write down what happened as soon as I wake up. Hopefully one dream will repeat itself and I’ll recognize it.

I dont think dreams work like that. I might be wrong but I try to dream of gettin wild with Sasha Grey and the dream never happens lol.

In addition to writing down dreams, my technique to induce lucidity used to include setting up my phone to alarm me of ‘dream checks’ every few hours. Your phone goes off, you ask yourself, “Am I dreaming?”. Eventually you’ll get used to it and start doing it in your dreams.

Also, this trick worked for me 90% of the time, I would wake up early, chill for half an hour, then go back to sleep. I would have like 4-5 lucid dreams in a 20 minute span.

It’s both disturbing and liberating , the type of vile shit you’re capable of doing when you wake up in your dream, with all your senses, and the realization that there are no consequences to your actions.

Btw the other day i had a dream in which i heard an outkast’s song… that in fact does not exist. I listened to all their albums… no way… Haha, kinda funny dream.

And i already wrote some rhymes while i was sleepin, and read a few pages of a book that i had not read irl, oh sit. One of my favorite dreams.

I was real close to lucidity last night. I dreamt that I was watching the fireworks from a NYC rooftop pool party that had the three most incredible pools i’ve ever seen. I actually remember myself thinking, “this is like a dream.” I didn’t get my own hint though lol. Kind of disappointing.

Last night, I dreamt I ran into my exgf’s family at a farmer’s market, the weird part is that it was a farmer’s market I’ve been to before in my dreams, but never in real life. lol Her dad offered to buy me food and I said no thanks, then I tried to buy myself a drink but when I went to pay I only had 26 cents and it cost 36 cents, luckily I eventually found a quarter on the ground. My ex kept calling her fam and I could hear her voice on their phones but I couldn’t talk to her. I’m not sure what happened next but it led to me going on a long bike ride to the area around my hood from when I was like 5. haha Dreams.

edit: Also a good movie about dreams is called ‘Ink’ basically its an indie movie about two collective unconscious forces (dreamers and nightmares) at war for our sleeping minds. It’s pretty trippy and has a cool concept. The acting might not be the best but it’s free and streaming on hulu.com. I think it’s critically acclaimed, check it out.

My favorite part of the day is that small space of time in the morning after my alarm goes off, but before I get up, where I still remember what I was dreaming and get to slip back and forth between that dream and consciousness.

When I was 5 I used to have nightmares about an evil children’s book that used to chase me. The book was “Go Away Big Green Monster!” which apparently is supposed to teach kids to not be scared of nighttime monsters. Yeah, kind of failed in that respect. It used to come out of my dresser, levitate, and then chase me. It shot lasers at me and there would always be bookcases blocking the exit to my room so I couldn’t escape. I had this dream SO many times and I’d KNOW that I was in a dream but I couldn’t control myself in it.

My younger brother used to have nightmares that he was being chased by Bigfoot and Bigfoot’s son, who in my bros dream was Chris Mullin lol

I just had a dream a couple nights ago where I saw APOS in a Best Buy, and I was really excited. Then I went up to it and looked at the back of it and it didn’t have the APOS logo on the back so I didn’t want to buy it and give the money to LAU.

I’ve been listening to this album for a long time and it’s become a favorite of mine. This isn’t usually the type of music I’m into, but it realy grabbed a hold of me from he first spin. Whenever I have trouble sleeping I throw this on and doze off slowly and happily. I wanted to see what others had to say about the album, because it felt so unusual, personal and unique to me. APOS always does the trick whenever i cant sleep. that album just puts me at peace, there is no other album in the world like it

I can’t fall asleep to APOS. A lot of the songs get me too amped. I just want to rock out when I hear Since When and Hellfire. Even with the mellow songs, I’m too busy focusing on the lyrics to zone out.
