even if this is a random obscure mixtape verse, it is still easily one of the greatest displays of “flow” and multisyllabic rhyming i have ever heard in my life. shit is incredible to me.

It’s from early 2000, if I remember right. The album art is pretty self-explanatory. DJ Blowout released a mix CD titled “Verses vs. Beats” featuring just about every single active MC in the NYC underground scene—from that era—spitting an original verse over his beats. I don’t remember off the top, but I think there’s more than 40 tracks.
