Man this silent anticipation is KILLING me haha. I cant wait for the day it arrives in my mailbox, throw up the do not disturb sign on my door (dont really have one but i want no interruptions haha), seclude myself from the world, throw on my Shure headphones and massage my ear drums to these melodies!
Kind of like when APOS, DA, SJV1/2 and almost every other qn5 release dropped in the past few years. Theres always a distinctive feeling when a new record comes out from QN5, its hard to explain.

It’s kind of like a crack addict feenin’ for their next hit. I’ve been hitting up the forums since WhutDuzFMStand4? and i’ve had to go through pre-orders for WDFMS4?, Sacrifce, Dirty Acres, How I Learned to love the Bomb, SJV1 and 2 and IFHR.
My anticipation for this album just grew tremendously.. Reading the reviews has got me so hyped to hear it. I don’t know how I’m gonna wait for it to drop, like I need to hear this album immediately lol words can’t describe the anticipation!
La Petite Mort (Come Die With Me): Hands down this is the sexiest song about sex through death-related terminology I’ve ever heard. LOL Really though, this is a super chill song with one of the most catchy/peaceful/sexy hooks ever. Simple as that. Oh and the ending offers a nice lil chuckle.
Rhythm of the Rain: I like the various chords throughout the song and rain and thunder sound effects. The hook’s vocal sample sounds really familiar to me. I’ve found myself singing it in my head the past couple days. Thee Tom Hardy’s verse is some truthful shit - his voice sounds similar to Mac Lethal’s. Tunji spits probably his 2nd best verse I’ve ever heard, he really is progressing very nicely as an emcee. I’m looking forward to what he does next. Kno’s verse is hot.. like hot hot. The outro is dope.
Spread Your Wings: This is one of my favorite songs EEEEEEASY. It’s so fucking up there. I sing that chorus everytime I hear it – regardless of my lack of singing abilities. The guitar and every piece of the beat are stellar. Deacon and Kno both deliver and I couldn’t criticize this song if I wanted to. It’s beautiful and will stick with me for a long time. The outro is very peaceful and I’m just loving this song like none other right now. This is definitely going on some mixes for my loved ones sooner or later.
Smile (They Brought Your Coffin In): I like the way the guy in the beginning sings. lol This instrumental is quite awesome. The drums and guitar are perfect. Towards the ending the piano kinda reminds me of “Building Steam With A Grain of Salt” even though I’ve gone back and forth between the two and they’re pretty different. [shrug]
Graveyard: Folks who miss the older WRFF/SU battle rap Kno will be pleased with this. “Let’s just say she has a populous esophagus” - lol I gotta scrunch my face and get my neck crankin (pause) when this shit starts up. The beat is ill (the drums and flute go together nicely) and Kno’s humor never fails, Sheisty’s part after the verse is grimey. I really dig the vocal sample in the beginning and end along with the flute and chords. Makes me think of some 19th century macabre poetry/literature (yeah, I’m talkin about Edgar Allan Poe again). If you couldn’t tell by now, I pretty much love everything The Emo Premo’s done with vocal samples on this record.
I’m gonna go space out to “I Wish I Was Dead” now.
^As I was telling houstonz earlier Dwilli, I figured YOU would’ve gotten the album along with everybody else that got it. To all of you who have it, I’m jealous, but I’m happy for you. Really…you lucky summabitches. ;o)
And great reviews/discussions/breakdowns Kags and houstonz. My anticipation (like everyone else’s) has gone through the roof. *sighs*
So yeah, any ideas and anticipation you had for this album go back and multiply it by 100 fold. Will give proper insight after listening at least one more time. However, the beat to Loneliness is just smooth.
