This will be the official discussion for Oneirology. Just as I did with Death Is Silent, I’m letting a few friends and fans have the album early, so I’m starting this to allow them to discuss it.
As I’ve said before, we don’t really do press on releases anymore because we have to send out promos 3 months before the release date and writers just turn around and leak it—we’re mainly interested in what fans and friends have to say anyway, so why not just give them the record directly?
So have at it.

Predormitum - The winds blowning and organs(I think) gota nice lil sample beat drops its gota kinda erie /futuristic/real hard sound Natti starts rippin it then deac keeps it going then Im hearn kno AH man shit is fuckin nasty. This had me rockn hard to it and it really fucked up my breathing its really that epic. Off this track alone I will vouch and say this album is better then apos 100%....
Darkness - Do I really even need to go there? Becuz you and I already know how dope this track is just off the teaser they had. Darkness echos in the back…. ..Deac is starts it…...searchn for answers/ is like searchn for atlantis/im workn hard/ Im just hurtn for some chances / :_____(at school 11??)is like prison ona campus / show me the monae and the pencils and the canvis/advance thru my imagery /i view my evil deeds/when I went to jack /in TN to erase memory/when I caught mary J /be my serenity/..... every song so far is just a master piece ....

Holy shit they rap to the intro beat? I’m shaking just thinking about it. The snippet for that beat is fucking insane.
Phantasmata is Just beautiful…...similar to Cornasto as there is no rapping ... Im loven it..All the beat on here so far are solid. Such great production(kno was not fuckin around)

Friends with enemies is different but refreshing as to the sound it has to it. Really love how every1 delivered on the track ..knos superman references were dope and I liked em. Tone has a nice verse the “she has me with fuck goggles on” lol…Classic so far just a really great well put together album
This album is a huge jump forward from A Piece of Strange. It’s like APOS was CL testing the waters of a concept album and this is the real deal. No joke.
Production and lyricism are on a whole new level. Beyond APOS, Dirty Acres, NWL, Death Is Silent.. all that. I’ve only listened through Oneirology once at this point, and the production stands out tremendously. Each song sounds like you’re actually within a new environment of sound.. it’s not just hi-hats, snares, and some adlibs with vocals mixed in between. It’s like if Hans Zimmer became a Hip Hop producer.
For those who wanted to hear Kno go in on more verses, he’s got about 5 on Oneirology from what I can remember off the top: Predormitum (Prologue), Hard As They Come (Act I), Get Ignorant, Enemies With Benefits, and Embers.

^ really tho.. You have captured in words what I was feeling about the album. I was over come with excitement that I really didnt go into depth but Im glad some1 agrees with me on the better then apos thing.yeah im giving this more plays right now.
So…I guess you’re saying that this is the best hip hop album ever created then? Because as of now Apos is the best rap/hip hop album I’ve ever heard and if oneirology is better than apos then I may just pass out upon pressing play.
