I’m positive for a release this year, and I believe they will release it this year…just saying though…keeping low expectations with hopes of them being exceeded.
it really doesn’t matter WHEN CATM will be released. We all know that it will happen someday and that it will be unbelievable great !! All we have to do is waiting and listening to other great Qn5 projects. I’m sure KNO made the right decision because he is the worlds best producer . CATM will be a BIG thing!!
aside from playing powerball/megamillions so i can not ever have to work again, my secondary goal is to take suchwinnings and give to qn5. I will defeat the “no rich relatives” motto, and CATM will be out on friday. That said, 1 in 175.2 million of hitting it. I’ll still drop my 6 bucks a week.
I think I’ve turned a few people into CL fans, and just introduced CATM, I think they’ll like it
Not directly related, but I wish I could become an intern for an artist like Tone or Kno. I’d love to see the process of writing the lyrics and how they gain inspiration. I also can’t help but wonder who they’re going to get for the album art.
Lois Van Baarle (http://blog.loish.net/) did such a great job with Oneirology, so I’m excited to see who will be able to interpret the fetuseahorse.
Why we arguing the best of CL projects? I see a lot of times people attack a user for thinking “CL’s earlier stuff is better than their more serious material.”
Although I agree with ya’ll rather than Horton, I’m also aware that’s just MY taste. It’s music. There’s also plenty of keen music fans who don’t like Hip-Hop. Everyone’s got their own taste . Just think Blue Schoolers can come off as pretentious at times when the reality is there’s enough music out there to even divide this community into diff taste. Should just be happy that CL has a catalog big enough to appeal to everyone’s taste, but we don’t gotta go carry the night stick on folks who dig older ish. Now back to CATM convo

Seeing as Tone’s been completely quiet across all social media outlets, including his own forum, since like mid-December.. I don’t think there’s anything to worry about.
I forgot that Tone’s going on tour with CL and stuff.. that would definitely be a good time to break the silence.

and I AM GOING TO EXPERIENCE THIS!!!! In Copenhagen in a couple of weeks .. My first live show with any QN5 artists, so I’m exited as hell! Missed the CL show in Denmark some years back, so that just add more to the exitement .. ‘Hope they aren’t on a too tight schedule and don’t have to leave just after the show. . . Meeting my (and my GF’s) favorite artists would be EPIC!

To my knowledge tonedeff’s part is done (recording wise), all the beats are done (unless kno’s deciding to make more beats for it or changing up ones that are already made). Sounds like it’s in the final mixing process which is a relief. I bet enough of it is done where they could release it this month if they wanted to, the business side/promotion is probably the only thing holding it up right now. Hopefully we’ll get some exciting info on this mini euro tour since tonedeff is tagging along. I would imagine this mini tour is part of the “promotional opportunities we’d have to pass up on” that kno mentioned back in december.
Yeah, I’m with JTX. From Kno’s original post on the delay, it definitely seemed the producing/writing/recording aspect was all but finished up at that point. It was mostly the business end (getting the right distro model) and promotion that they did not want to let suffer, along with the mixing process. I do hope we hear more of it during (from fans who go to the shows) and after the mini tour. It’s been over 3 months since Kno’s decision, and it has been mad quiet, so I hope that all means there has been lots of stuff going on behind the scenes.
