What music website or medium did you most identify with this year? Which website or medium yielded the most music you liked this year? It could be a record label, record store, blog, music magazine, radio station, tv station etc.
I try to look everywhere for music but I have 3 main websites that I check out:
I’ve found a large chunk of the music that I’ve enjoyed this year from those three sites but I think the one I found the most music I liked this year was from The Find. Although SYFFAL did yield album of the year for me and I found almost as much music I liked this year from SYFFAL as I did The Find.

ditto. thanks for Vespertina <3
Sharing new albums/artists and getting into artists that the QN5 camp has worked with has provided a good chunk of my music library. Portishead, UNKLE, Macklemore, Grieves, Blue Scholars, Vespertina, The Stuyvesants, Marcus D, Blue Sky Black Death, etc.
Wanted to up this thread for the 2013 year. To me this year SYFFAL was number one by far. The Find kind of fell off, must have changed authors or something. UGSMAG is still cool but they were always the one that yielded the least. I got up on Potholesinmyblog this year but only found a couple releases from there that I liked.
So like last year I want to up this thread because I think it’s important to know where we’re finding music. This year a new website shined: the Australian music website Tonedeaf. I was introduced to a good number of new artists and releases that I liked this year.
Hype Machine also introduced me to a few artists and releases this year.
Syffal still remains number 1 for me. I found out about a lot of the releases I mentioned in the 2014 music thread from there.
UGSmag comes next but hardly anything from there this year.
Thefindmag is pretty much dead to me, nothing from there this year.
A lot of the music that I liked this year came from artists that I had already been familiar with the previous year or years earlier.
