QN5 Music

The QN5 Forums have grown over the years, and with it… so has our membership. In fact, we sport one of the most dedicated and thoroughly witty communities on the web and by far the most loyal base of supporters of any hip-hop music label. With that in mind, we welcome you to the Blue School community and brief you on a VERY important set of rules.

RULES ARE RULES

1) NO LINKS to non-QN5 affiliated projects, shows or music. This includes non-sanctioned remixes or beat jacks.

1a) Case in point: “Yo, check out my website!” or “Yo Peep my new beat” or “Come To My Show” links will be automatically deleted without question. If you do not know who is affiliated with QN5… ask somebody. We don’t care if you rap, or have a record coming out, or you “make beats” or you want to “collab” or you have a new mixtape coming out. If you want to promote, pay for a banner ad on someone else’s site.

1b) Discussion about other artists is “OK” (keep it to a minimum), but links to songs or websites where you can download, view or discuss Non-QN5 affiliated artists* will be automatically deleted.

1c) We don’t spam other artists boards, so don’t spam ours.

1d) Once you’ve established yourself as a longtime upstanding member of the community and have demonstrated you’re not a douche, you will be selected by the staff and notified for access to the GRADUATES’S LOUNGE. Here, you can post about anything you want, including links, other artists, music, movies, etc. We’re always watching, so the more involved/out of your way you go for us, the higher your odds are for being admitted.

2) No excessive dissing to other forum members and artists. Blatant disrespect will not be tolerated.

We don’t expect everyone to get along like best friends, but we DO EXPECT people to be respectful of others on the forum.

2a) No discussion of samples. EVER.

3) NO TROLLING.

3a) Some people are assholes and major attention whores, who get off on stirring the pot by stating outlandishly ridiculous comments that are meant to rile people up. These types of people are excluded from our community.

4) No use of the QN5 forum/blog for the purposes of eBaying CDs or other QN5 collectibles.

4a) This is your own business, so do it on your own site.

5) If you’re a douche, you can and WILL be banned.

5a) The ability to communicate directly with the artists is a privilege, not a right - and should be treated as such. Treat the community with respect, and the community & artists will follow suit. Get your panties in a bunch or get sand in your figurative (or literal) vagina, and you’ll be swiftly banned. It’s all love otherwise.
