I think we’ll get a short set….if that doesn’t work out…we’ll be in the house regardless

Just ordered two tickets. Issawn.

Shit, Lone Cats in the set? I haven’t heard from em in ever, should be hot. Too bad I’m nowhere near it.

I got a golden ticket.

damn - this sucks… i was supposed to be there…..

can we reschedule for like june?

People ordering tickets online? Hmm, never done that for a knitting factory show, if you’re in LA you should just go to the Basement and get tickets, its on the corver of ventura and van nuys

see yaaa there cheaaaaaaaaa

FMakalishus vs. Okweezy

So I definitely have Calc and chem midterms the next day, I’m pretty sure QN5 conspires with schools to have shows before my midterms, so of course like the last time CL and Pack were doin shows near me while I had midterms the next day, I won’t be studying or sleeping before my midterms, yay!

I shall be in attendance along with 3 mexicanos.

Viva la raza!

still lookin for plane tickets… anything $300 OR UNDER i will buy… haha

we will be there

Yo.

What’s the situation going to be regarding parking and whatnot? And how late do you anticipate it to go on ‘til?

theres a parking garage right around the block and there are some meters on the road…......... i dunno how late the show is running til… also not sure of the hrs…..... hmmmmm, cant remember the night that i was there…...

what i do know is that i will not be in attendance… Crying or Very sad id really rather not talk about it….

have fun.

ps~i hate you.

the shows i’ve been to at the knitting factory usually go until 2. And there’s a parking garage underneath, and if thats full there’s are plenty around, parkings not a problem

This is our first all ages event in LA. I strongly suggest everyone here tell as many people they know and spread the word about it.

Pre-show warmup at LOS DOS AMIGOS.

I got 10 heads coming with so far..

8:00 PM Sean Healy Presents: QN5 Spring Cleaning Tour 2006 Feat. Cunninlynguist, Tondeff, Pack FM, Okwerds, 5th Element, Terminal Illness

That might be a bit of a problem for those Ska and Reggae boys. Anyway, It’ll be a squeeze for me to get there on time but I’ll try and make it.

... huh? They won’t be performing at the same place… this will go late, and it most likely will start late too

My mistake.

Party on then

This show was off the fucking hook.

Got there at about 7:40 with my girl, was wearing a plain navy blue hoodie and a pair of jeans. No QNClothes for the night. Watched 5th Element perform for a bit, then Inverse came on stage and did a few songs as well. I think I heard some of the songs they did when I went to Pomona a few months ago, props to them for coming through. Definitely interested in hearing that new album. I thought for a second they were gonna do Til The End, but I think it got cancelled or something. Okwerdz also did a few tracks and freestyled a little.

Session got onstage and rocked an acapella, a new track (I didn’t recognize it), followed by Betta Ask Somebody and Don’t Do It. If the first two pieces are examples of the quality that’s going into Spicasso, I’m definitely hyped and eagerly awaiting the LP. They both were very well done. Betta Ask Somebody and Don’t Do It got the crowd energized, screaming, and throwing their arms everywhere.

PackFM got onstage and rocked the 2006 Preview, Click Clack and Spray, Spit In the Wind 04, Forever Shine, Stomp, and a few other verses here and there. Click Clack & Spray was fun, it was my first time hearing it. The concept is ill and everything flows together really nicely. Stomp was hype as usual. Then Pack started the “item game” Supernatural’s famous for…and ran a thousand miles with it. Executed perfectly. His freestyle ability definitely got its shine on and I have to say that Pack knows how to work a live audience. That stage presence is simply amazing.

tonedeff performed Heads Up, Give a Damn, Spanish Song, Politics (1st Verse over the beat, 2nd Verse acapella), Case Closed, Pervert, Porcelain, Velocity, and Issawn. I saw the Mike Jones game for the first time and was thoroughly entertained. This was my first time seeing tone live and everything was impeccable. I really liked the way Porcelain was performed. Crowd went nuts throughout this entire set, and for good reason.

The Cunninlynguists performed Hellfire, Since When, Nothing to Give, Beautiful Girl, Hourglass, What’ll You Do, America Loves Gangsters, Love Ain’t, Dirtay, WCG, Be Free, Thugged Out Since Cub Scouts, Old School, Seasons, Lynguistics, and Mic Like A Memory. There were probably a few more tracks I’m forgetting; it was a pretty long set. This was my 2nd time seeing CL live and it was, once again, dope. I appreciated the live APOS songs a lot more than I did last time, because I hadn’t heard the album then. Nothing to Give is stunning live. It was awesome to hear stuff ranging from the WRFF era to the APOS era.

EF@mm, sans Substantial (but with Kno semi-filling in), performed Line Drop and FYIRB. There was a freestyle session at or near the end and each person was really sick off the top. Kno was especially funny with his remarks about being a producer, not a freestyler, and his beats not being free.

Afterwards I got to say ‘what’s up,’ introduce myself to, and shake hands with Tone, Kno, and Pack. And I got my Archetype booklet signed (picture later). I think I saw DWilli (black QN5 Shirt) and Epic (red cap) after the show was over, but I wasn’t sure. I need to start surfing that “Post Your Latest Picture” thread more frequently. By this time my girlfriend was collapsing from exhaustion and I felt pretty guilty for taking her away from her macro problem set & statistics project (both due tomorrow). So we left. Next time I hit up a QN5 concert iss-definitely-awn though.

So in conclusion, my neck is sore, I’ve lost my voice, and my ears feel like they’ve sustained enough damage to leave me music-less for the next month or so. But it was worth it. Anybody that hasn’t seen QN5 live is absolutely missing out.

^^ I’m pretty sure I was right next to you

During the show? Or after?

we were actually gonna do a joint feat. Deacon from our album….but there was a mixup about how many songs we could do…we thought it was 4…but apparentely it was 2…so they cut us off after the 3rd song even though Deacon had come up on stage…ah well…..i enjoyed myself….and now i will sleep

peace

Was there with DWilli and another homeboy. The salsa-off between Pack and Tone was golden, the lineup was dope, and the freestyles and overall show were incredible. Many props for putting on a killer show.

deStructuralized good sum up, the entire show was fantastic, defintely glad to see QN5 rock again. I was disappointed that TI didn’t atleast do “What You Know” but hey what you gonna do?

during, weere you up front, on the right side of the stage? I was the one whose keys pack took during the freestyle and put in his pocket
