it looks like nobody from this board was here, but this show was surprisingly good. Obviously all the artists did a great job, but the crowd stepped up and was pretty good as well (though not as poppin as the Denny’s at 2AM hahaha)
STORY TIME!
so some dude hit me up on AIM under the sn “alibaba” and then some numbers saying he was Deacon The Villian
He told me to get people to come to the Boulder, CO show or something but I said I lived in Salt Lake City and then he asked if I was going to the show (which was the next day). I said I wanted to but its 21+ so I cant. So “Deacon” said he cant let a fan get played like that and that he’ll get me in….I just gotta talk to some bouncer named Lou and tell him Deacon said I was chill
I kinda was sittin there thinkin it was a joke the whole time but I was going along with it as well because Id be kickin myself in the ass if it really was him…so I was questioning “deacon” about it but I couldnt get him to prove it
Anyways I went down to the venue the show was at and asked the ID Checker if he knew a bouncer named Lou…he had no clue and neither did the girl next to him.
So I looked at him for a second and said “Are you sure!?” he still said no…I told him my story real quick and left
I went to the Maverick and saw Abnorml from the Kno It Alls (they opened up for them here) and he knows me from MySpace and I met him once a loooong time ago….anyway I ask him if he knows Lou…he didnt know ANY of the bouncers names…so anyways, I just gave up and went to a party elsewhere
One of the reasons I went to the venue is because even if I didnt get in I was supposed to chill with a bunch of ladies and go to that party….I did
so nope….i didnt get into the show
A teeny part of me is still wondering if that was really Deacon or not. I highly doubt it
Hahaha I didn’t even notice the quartet having their own little discussion there until I looked at the pictures. As a whole, the crowd was actually pretty live. Just not them.
On a side note, I have noticed that at every single show, there is always one bitch at the back who dances all hippie-like, completely off beat, with arms waving around all euphoric and shit. EVERY TIME, unfailingly. Notice this.

crazy.
rappers I didnt think anybody in the state besides me knew about are putting on sold out shows here
ill have to hit Tone up with info on some non-21+ venues sometime
or ya’ll can just talk to iCON The Mic King…he said he talked to the same promoter that did this show for yall (Blank Beard) but its at a different venue thats not 21+
hes comin here at the end of June for the Fish Dont Carry Guns tour

At least she stood out! I went to an Atmosphere (minus Ant) concert. And well, I’m sure you’ve seen and heard for yourself.
