this is gonna be my official tour blog. normally something like this
would go on the website in the “fmemoirs” section, but I won’t be able
to access the site like what while on the road (plus I don’t think any
of yall ever read that shit anyway hahah) so all of this is goin
straight from my sidekick to the boards

so I’m bout to hit the road in a week for this tour. the shit really
snuck up on me, I thought I had more time. there’s mad shit I need to
get done and with all the shit I have to take care of for this album
release I don’t have any clue how its gonna happen.
this is a grass roots movement for real, but its gotta be done. and
anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m one of the hardest working
mc’s in the game. we don’t have a staff of people working for us making
sure that everything is set so that all we have to do is rap. we call
these promoters ourselves, handle the paperwork, rent the cars, book the
hotels, produce the merchendise etc etc. this is a 100% internal
operation. (pause?)

but don’t get me wrong, I love what I do. performing is my drug. I don’t
smoke or drink, I get high off of being on stage. I’ve been doing shows
since 1997. if there’s a crowd for me to rock, I’m there. I try to save
a flyer with my name on it from every show I do. and I keep them all in
a shoebox. the one I have right now is overflowing so now its time for
me to start a new one with this tour.

I really can’t wait to get back in front of a crowd tho. I haven’t
rocked a set since dec. 18 @ bowery in nyc. so I might be a bit rusty
the first night or 2 but, I’m sure I’ll bounce right back into the
swing of things.

I will not be performing too many songs off the album on the tour, I
want them to all be fresh when you hear them on record. and no I won’t
be selling copies of the album at ANY of the shows. if you want this
record u have to order it from packfm.com

so yeah that’s all I have to say for right now.
just keep checkin the boards for updates and shit and keep the replies
goin so I know yall out there!

in the whip with substantial, tone and ill tarzan
mind u we were supposed to be in philly by 7 and we didn’t leave nyc til 730, so um, yea
we’re late
gettin ready for this tour has been the most crazy experience, the other night I was up til 3am booking hotel rooms and renting cars
no rich relatives haha
I wanna give a shout to kags and my boy don cerino for holdin me down on street team duties this weekend
we got the whole crew comin out to philly for the show, pumpkinhead, hydra, substantial so u know shits gonna be off the chain
so that’s wass goot right now

word, philly was a great way to kick off the tour. when I got there the spot looked a bit empty but it filled in better than I expected. first thing I did of course was cop a cheese steak (which somebody later threw out or ate ) then when I got backstage they told us all the food in the spot was free for us so then I had calamari, which natti from kynfolk tried for the first time and referred to it as hot gum hahah

so I’m chillin and watchin icon and jus allah tear it down on stage, then my plague familia got busy as well (substantial, hydra and pumpkinhead) so basically we gave them a pre-game warm up to the nyc style roof tearin show qn5 is known for.

after session does his thing I’m on deck and I take the stage for the first time in 3 months and it felt great. its like I felt the air being sucked out of the room as everyone took that breath to make as much noise as possible, hands in the air and heads bobbin. I was in a zone. now since I haven’t rocked in a while my A game wasn’t there and I forgot the words to a few songs haha but I still tried to keep it movin and yall showed mad love. I told one girl in the front to “shut the fuck up” cuz I needed silence haha she got a bit offended, but she later bought a t shirt which I signed and wrote “shut the fuck up” yes, a great night over all

right now I’m running about 2hrs late, but what’s new? I’m looking forward to the jersey crowd, I’m gonna be rehearsing in the car on the way there because I really did forget a lot of my songs haha I focused on the album too much lately
so I’ll see all yall nj heads in a little bit

boston was off the meter
as usual, we ended up leaving for boston 3hrs behind schedule. and the only thing I can say is fuck mapquest! boston is the worst city to get lost in cuz even the people who live there don’t know their way around the place
the show was off the hook, lots of kids there all live as fuck. I successfully completed my 2nd crowd surf of the tour, I’m tryin to get at least 10 for the whole tour
so this cat was filming the whole show for his dvd and catchin interviews from us all. its pretty cold outside and we’re all waiting to finish so we can get food and go to sleep. when he’s done he says he would lead us to an ihop near by. apparently people have different definitions of what nearby is. after 15 minutes of driving, we’re all wondering “where the fuck is this guy takin us??” we started passing by residential areas and we are faaaaaaar from the club and have no idea how to get back to the hotel from anywhere. now we’re thinkin “how bad do I really want pancakes?” now 20 mins of drivin and we come to a toll booth “what the fuck are we doin at a toll booth?”
ok now this guy is having a conversation with the booth clerk. we pass the booth and the clerk hands us a walkie talkie that the dude had given. so he hits us on it like “sup” we’re like “nigga u tell us wassup!? where the hell u takin us??” he goes “oh my bad, I was on the phone with this chick and I forgot yall was followin me, we should be there in 5 minutes”
10 minutes later…. we still aint at the ihop, so I hit him on the walkie talkie (people still use those??) he says “3 more mins” goooooooood lord. so at 4am we finally sit down and have our food and head back to the hotel. I’m still trying to decide if the food was worth it.
right now we’re en route to the hotel in connecticut and session is fartin like a muthafucka so I’m gonna hit yall later and hang my head out the window
