tone and pack got on at 10 though
basically there was 1 hour 30 minutes of wack rappers (the first guy was cool though) before Inverse stepped to the stage
Inverse was very impressive, I’m definitely going to be looking for their material. AND they performed their verses on Til The End.
Pack did Forevershine, freeverses over some wdfms4? beats, Click Clack & Spray, I Can’t Win <<< dope, and Stomp. He also played “the game” and took a picture with a disposable camera during his freestyle. He also threw someone’s demo CD on the floor, hahah.
A few dumbasses kept flying all over the place and slamming into people like it was pro wrestling, and Pack had to stay on stage during Stomp after his attempt at going off stage resulted in him being put in a makeshift chokehold, but he played it cool and called them out several times. They stepped on my kicks which really pissed me off.
Tone came onstage and rocked out as usual, with Ridiculous, Spanish Song, Velocity, Case Closed, Heavyweight, Pervert, Disappointed, Politics, and Porcelain.
Pack & Tone did Basix, which was very dope to see.
Halfway through the performance my ears stopped working properly and I stopped hearing mids. So Tone sounded really chipmunked throughout…hopefully it wont be permanent
I didnt see anybody I recognized, but I did get Pack to sign wdfms4
So in summation, I was pissed for the first two hours, then happy for the next three. And I’m eating 7-11 hotdogs for dinner now. BYAHHHHHHH
P.S. The Knitting Factory not allowing people under 21 to leave and then re-enter the venue = BALLS. I would have very much liked to grab something to eat while the openers were performing.
Haha, yeah, see, what i did was sit around with inverse through the first few wack rappers, then when they were goin to the stage i just followed tunji up to the front. And there was the one drunk guy that was causin all the problems. Shortly after stomp he kept acting up and i saw someone in the crowd grab him by the throat and take him out of the crowd… didn’t see him again… haha. Then there was some really awkward guy in stage next to tone and pack singing and dancing to their stuff… It was a little creepy.

hahah yeah i saw that guy he was in the crowd next to me during inverse when he requested “porcelain”...
“yo porcelain is tonedeff”
“i kno i was just testing them!”
haha… whatever u say i was still kinda drunk at that point but i heard tone introduce him kinda so i guess he’s a friend of his but yeah that was kinda weird when he started imitating tone during porcelain but pack kinda pulled him back

yeah man what was with all those fuckin little kids starting a sissy ass mosh pit?? one tried to punch me and some other dude in the face. so we went after him and security took him outside before we could do anything. also the performers before Inverse, we’re horrible. Everyone was standing there all stone-face. Not because we were boring people, but because they sucked. Everyone was there for QN5, not some fake ass amatuer shit-heads. So yeah there was a bad vibe goin on throughout the night, so I just kept drinking. By the time Pack and Tone came out, everyone was having a good time, enjoying the show. Thats what that shit should be about. We all got to meet Tone and Pack, real nice personal show. I have more respect for them now, real recognize real. I’ll give a better summary later folks…...

Actually… now that I think about it, where you up right in the front? I thought one girl up there looked a little familiar. I knew the people near the front were big fans when they started talkin about tone’s video blog of lollapoloza
