Newbie Check-In :: Rules & Regulations BOOKING QN5 FOR A SHOW IN YOUR AREA - HERE’S HOW!

?? Do you go to shows often? ??

?? Wanna see QN5 at one of these shows? ??

Heres how to make it happen!

1) Please don’t post “Come Perform Here In My Town” here, because we cant do shit about it unless we have contact with a promoter in your area Smile [Although we do appreciate the thought]

2) The next time you find yourself at a show looking at your watch because the acts pretty much suck, take the time to look for THE PROMOTER of the show. (The guy that actually put the show together/organizer). They’re ALWAYS at the show and you can usually find who it is on the flyer.

3) When you find them, tell them you know some artists that would be great for their next event and get that promoters contact info and send it to US at: tour@qn5.com

NOTES:
a) If the promoter asks how much we charge to do a show, just pass us his/her info and we’ll discuss it with the promoter themselves.

b) If the promoter says he’s not familiar with QN5, tell them to get their head out of their ass and check out QN5.COM’s [press section] and see that they’ve been sleeping.

4) We’ll take care of EVERYTHING from there and hopefully you’ll see us in your town within a few months Smile

All shows are posted when they are booked, so please also don’t post asking “When…” because that information will be available everywhere when it is ready to be announced.

Thanks!
QN5 MUSIC.

PS. If you want a “cut”...see if you can “work” with the promoter to make the show happen. Whatever you split is between you and the promoter.

Re: BOOKING QN5 FOR A SHOW IN YOUR AREA : HERE’S HOW!

Re: BOOKING QN5 FOR A SHOW IN YOUR AREA : HERE’S HOW!

also, one of the artists can confirm or deny this, but if the place has a website you can usually email the promoter and request that they get some qn5 people over at the show…..i know that works for some comedy clubs so i would figure it works for concerts too

Re: BOOKING QN5 FOR A SHOW IN YOUR AREA : HERE’S HOW!

nope
thats a common misconception
its very rare that the venue books the events themselves
unless its a big venue like say house of blues or bb kings

normally independant promoters will contact venues and ask for available dates and then book the acts they want themselves

so we need to be in touch w/ the local promoters in order to head to your area

yeah

Hmmmm, well you can still perform in iraq… USO baby. (that means you do it for free )

yea

waiting for a month now trying to get some where with cunnin ... dtv and kno are busy on the third album hopefully. thats the only excuse i’ll take

Re: yea

Yo, what about ova-C’ssss…Australia needs Qn5 lol. banner.jpg

They actually ARE goin apeshit with the recording right now…Kno sent me some crazy shit last night for the new single…whoa. I guess, being in KY ensures a reclusive and focused recording environment.

We actually have been in talks with a promoter for some time trying to make this happen. Trying to make a couple shows pop in Adelaide and possibly in Melbourne. It’s like $2500 a person to fly out there. That’s fucking insanity.

Re: .

im glad that the show didnt go un noticed

Re: AUSTRALIA

Just two things

I know that Pumpkinhead did a 4 city tour of Australia. Not sure who foot the bill, but ask him, maybe theres a cheaper way to get there, maybe by touring other spots on the way and getting there gradually.

Also, I know this girl who lives in Australia, Kelly “Phoenix” Chase, a writer and poet who also organizes America to Australia hip hop tours where artists go there to perform.
I’m out of touch with her right now, but if you can get a hold of her she might have some ideas.

That is all.

GMS

..

whats the word on amsterdam?

If that crate idea turns into reality, could you send it on to Norway?
I would be very gratefull Smile

it be cool to see a show in edmonton since you guys skiped us on your canada tour.

I don’t go to many shows around here nor know shit about getting in contact with promoters and shit.

So, would it be possible if I get yall some info on a club or venue close to here (website with phone number, email, etc) that yall could hit em up and check out who some promoters are for shows that go down there? Or would it just be easier if I did that and passed on the promoters info to yall… I think I just answered my own quesiton… Fuck.

you have an email mr. tour@QN5.com

ill also be checking with patrick over at Molly Darcy’s in Danbury, i had inquired a little while ago with him but we lost contact… ill be checking back in with him and get all his contact info again and email it to the proper authorities…

check the venue…. tuxedojunction.net

I remember SOS and I think Kno was recently asking for some contact info and then he (or whoever does it) will take care of the rest themselves

i was just curious… did anyone follow up on that email?

tone pack & mecc should rock tuxedoes or molly darcys… def dope show venues.

easy to get to from anywhere in Westchester, Putnam, NYC, and CT, & MA too. its right off of I-84… i think it would be a successfull excusion in so many ways. (no homo)

We dont skip anyone intentionally. Blame your local promoters for not booking us. The opportunity is always there for them to do so.

Either way. We can follow up with whatever info you pass off as well, or vice-versa.

Will do.

um tone i have a question

i know of a few venues but their more of the rock theme, but i know a few people that could get you shows there
or maybe i should check out downtown ATL and try to meet people?

white girls have issues networking with stuff like this
but i’ll work my ass off and it would make me so excited if you guys came down.
