Robots & Dinosaurs – Kokayi
Kokayi’s QN5-debut album, Robots & Dinosaurs, is set for release digitally on 9.28.10 and physically on 10.19.10.
The official follow-up to 2008’s Mass Instructions, Robots & Dinosaurs is a self-produced tour de force that showcases the Grammy-nominated artist’s varied talents on every track. Handling executive production duties along with Tonedeff and Byron Fogan, Kokayi has managed to create a work that highlights the spaces between the extremes of modern pop, rock & hip hop and subsequently deletes them. Photography by Chad Griffith, and cover art/layout by Seattle-based illustrator Lindy Kanand round out the project’s feel and give visual life to the music.

PRE-ORDER THE ALBUM NOW @ iFuckingHateRappers.com
“As a concept album, it would be best to listen to I F*cking Hate Rappers from front to back to understand PackFM’s message, and he undoubtedly has good advice. In less than 40 minutes, he shows his growth from battle emcee to an artist able to deliver a solid piece of work without sounding preachy or contrived. Even if I F*cking Hate Rappers proves to be an album that goes under the radar in 2010, years from now we very well may be talking about its significance on a larger scale.”
Edwin Ortiz (HipHopDX.com) [4/5]
I F*ucking Hate Rappers is clearly one of the best album’s of 2010. The magnetic story telling and heavy population of cogent beats makes it easy to digest, but the nearly perfect execution of the hilarious and lively skits that thread this effort together as well as the placement of his guest features (which were kept to a minimum) take it into orbit. – Dominick “BIG D O” Ledezma – (AboveGroundMagazine) [19/20]
“Overall this album is a solid 4 out of 5 stars, could be a classic and serve as what rap albums should be hilarious, entertaining and commentary.”
Ben Barrios (UStyles.com)
Strange Journey Volume Two – CunninLynguists

Other guests include Sean Price, Tonedeff, Freddie Gibbs, PackFM, Poison Pen and more. Volume Two also features production from J-Zone and Blue Sky Black Death. Similar to Volume One, Strange Journey Volume Two is also (almost) entirely produced by the incomparable beatsmith Kno and features 70+ minutes of brand new music.

What others are saying:
Tracks like “Nothing But Strangeness” and “Die for You” bop along with musical energy usually not reserved for hip-hop… It’s just really invigorating and, sure, intimidating to hear a guy work samples so eloquently… [Kno] is on a new evolutionary level of hip-hop production. -Nodima on rateyourmusic.com
If this is what they left on the cutting room floor though… It just requires a HOLY SHIT! A lot of artists can go a lifetime without ever so much as touching some of these songs. -Rayhzel on rateyourmusic.com
