[VIDEO] Zoe Wick - “Love Ain’t (CunninLynguists Cover)”

Posted 4 days, 7 hours, 22 minutes ago by by Tonedeff

Zoe Wick acoustically covers the CunninLynguists classic “Love Ain’t”.

For those of y’all that follow my Twitter & Facebook feeds, you’re no stranger to this brilliant cover of CunninLynguists’ “Love Ain’t” by singer-songwriter Zoe Wick.

She has such a distinct and delicate voice that really plays well with the acoustic guitar and somber lyrics of the original track. I absolutely love the way she flipped the lyrics and really made the song her own – using only the phrasing and pieces that work within her genre. Great editing on her part.

Zoe’s new album Lose The Moon — which includes this cover of “Love Ain’t” — is available now @ Bandcamp, so show your love by dropping her a line and picking up a copy. We’re sure this won’t be the last you hear of her.

Hollerate,
Tone

[VIDEO] I Am Many - “More Black” [Directed by: Gee Notes]

Posted 1 week, 6 days, 7 hours, 45 minutes ago by by QN5 MUSIC

I Am Many – “More Black” [Produced By Logik Proof] | [BUY ALBUM]

For the grand finale of QN5 Affiliate-Week, we bring you a monstrosity of a music video.

I Am Many brings us a look into the world of BDSM and Fetishism with this ground-breaking video for the Logik Proof produced “More Black”, taken from his new album S.I.N. (Strength In Numbers), which is available now on Amazon & iTunes. We’ve been warning you for some time now, that this dude is on some next shit, but it wasn’t until now that he’s finally begun to marry his agressively futuristic-schizophrenic sound to an image – and it’s a dark, dirty place, drenched in sin. We hope Hip Hop is ready for this, but frankly, Hip Hop could use a good spanking right now.

The New Album: S.I.N. (Strength In Numbers)

S.I.N. (Strength In Numbers), is many things, but it is not complacent or fearful of judgement. It looks the devil in the eye, shakes his hand with the left and stabs him with the right. This is pre-Giuliani New York City music – made of crushed bits of razor blades, MDMA and a ‘fuck you’ haircut. Aggressively based beats sufficiently slathered in Many’s mechanically precise staccato flow, exploring the many deserted corridors of Hip Hop’s alternative future. Logik Proof samples the sound of synthesizers grinding through a garbage disposal, layering it a heavy dose of 808 bass and snares that make your nose bleed. This is the sound of Bay Ridge Brooklyn in 2022. The inevitable digital drowning. I Am Many will be your captain if you’d like to stay afloat.

[AUDIO] Hectic Zeniths - Hectic Zeniths

Posted 3 weeks, 2 days, 1 hour, 33 minutes ago by by QN5 MUSIC

QN5 Affiliate-week rolls on (a tad staggered) with this absolute GEM of an album by Hectic Zeniths.

Hectic Zeniths is the work of bedroom producer and multi-instrumentalist Adam Morgan Prince, who’s remixed CunninLynguists “The Light” for QN5 RMX VOL. 2 AND played keys for the live A Piece of Strange set at the 2009 Megashow. Nearly three years in the making, the densely layered project builds around original piano compositions with an atmospheric collage of chopped and pitched dollar-bin vinyl samples, live instrumentation, synths, and haunting vocals. Featuring violinist Patrick Bailey, guitarist Dave Cohen, and The Yetti on drums. We love this album, and you will too.
