“The album is about the voice inside your head that keeps getting in the way of everything, telling you that you can’t achieve your dreams, letting money control your life and convincing you that you’re never enough.” Fjer says of her new record. “I wrote these songs to get every single one of those feelings out and deal with them on my own. The record is my most personal to date and I hope that it will invite people into my world – both lyrically and sonically.”

You Again features 12 BRAND NEW SONGS of sprawling electro-soul and delicate vibes, written, produced and performed by Fjer herself with gorgeous artwork by visual artist, Morten Overgaard. So, Polymer…what took so long? Tonedeff made a movie! SURPRISE!

Polyoptics: The Formation of Polymer is a full-length documentary that chronicles not only the creation process of Tonedeff’s Polymer, but the formative experiences behind the music itself. A one-man creative army, he constructed the film solo in tandem with the recording of the album – offering a deep dive into his process and motivations. Featuring interviews with an assortment of underground Hip Hop luminaries like J-Zone, Louis Logic, DJ JS-1 and PackFM, Polyoptics is the definitive look into the work of an oft-overlooked genre-smashing artist.

QN5 is hosting the NYC theater premiere on 12/11 @ Cinepolis Chelsea, along with a special Q&A from Tonedeff. Seating is limited, so get your tickets ASAP.
