...Ok, I know I’m forgetting something.

The QN5 MEGASHOW always gets me, year in and year out.

The amount of planning, late nights, discussion, preparation and general stress always goes to all time highs. [Read about my nightmare in 2005]. It doesn’t help that we’re simultaneously under the gun to get Substantial’s Sacrifice album out the door at the same time. When it rains, it pours, folks.

We’re really making the effort to make this the best Megashow yet. Your boy PackFM has really been on point with the planning this year, so I definitely gotta give credit for all the work he’s been putting in. The ideas have been flying from all over the camp and preparations are well under way. The promotion is in full effect [Join Our Myspace Promo Team] and we’re getting all the final pieces in order. And there’s still SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much to do.

Still, even though this time of year is ultra stressful for us, we like to make sure the people that put their money where their mouth is are rewarded for their loyalty and support. We have a ton of surprises and goodies in store for y’all that you’ll ONLY be able to get at the Megashow.

Some Folks Just Don’t Get It

As we’ve been promoting this event, I’ve gotten a few odd responses from a couple people that remind me how out of touch some people are with our movement. Some folks think that this is “just another tour show”. I hear stuff like “I’ll catch this show the next time you guys come”.

This is NOT a typical tour show. We have people flying out from all over the world to be there, because they know that this is a ONE TIME annual thing…a blue schooler convention of sorts.

We’re touring artists, who live in different places. Some of us are in NYC, CunninLynguists are in KY, SOS is in Atlanta, Substantial’s in Maryland. Trust me…you’re not going to see the ENTIRE camp anywhere at the same place on the same stage at the same time any other time this year, unless you come to the Megashow. Because of this, we get to do joints we never get to do and the fireworks fly.

If you’re a hardcore fan, there really is no other place on earth you should be, regardless of where you’re from or if you can’t get off work that night, it’s your 2 month anniversary with your girlfriend, your friends are douchebags who don’t want to go, or you live far, etc etc etc. There are a million reasons NOT to do ANYTHING in this world, so fuck all that. When anyone REALLY wants to do something…they do it.

So, with that said, we’re catapulting our asses all the way to Los Angeles to put on one hell of a fucking show for y’all. All cylinders firing. If you’re a QN5 fan, you’re going to be very very VERY happy you made it.

It’s going to be a looong 8 days for me.
