iTunes picks Tonedeff’s “Porcelain” as an Essential Genre Song
The iTunes Essentials series have been a great way to get new folks into a particular genre or artist. People come on the site thinking, “Gee, I’d really like to get into some ‘Underground’ Hip Hop, but I don’t know where to start!”. Well, Mr. Jobs & Co. have made it easy for them, by compiling these lists of “ESSENTIAL” songs for said genre/artist that are considered MUST-HAVES by their editorial staff.
So, we were happy to find that Tonedeff’s now-classic “Porcelain” was included in the Underground MC’s – iTunes Essentials playlist as the #1 pick under the “next steps” tab. Also, on the “Deep Cuts” tab, they chose “Basix (f/ Tonedeff & PackFM)” from DJ JS-1’s album, Audio Technician.
It’s nice to be included, for once.
